The one thing I will say about Port of subs that I really appreciate is the fact that they freshly carve your meat before making the sandwiches. The prices are a little steep but compared to other sandwich shops it’s not too bad. This particular Port of subs has plenty of staff and is relatively quick about getting your food made. This Port of Subs is located inside of a truck stop so make sure to pay attention because semi trucks can’t always see you.

Only drawback is the gas station if you want to dine in. BUT, it can be a plus while traveling.
We always stop here on the way to Reno, its the first one we come to, and port of subs is my wife’s favorite.
Despite being in a gas station, it’s always clean!
Our food is fresh and made correctly, with a quick turnaround.
The staff is clean and well put together, very friendly and welcoming.

The staff was amazing, all except “the manager” as she called herself but that doesn’t change the fact that the rest of the team was fun fast accurate and joyful. Teasing the younger boy he needed to eat more was my favorite part of the day he laughed and didn’t take offense so that was a plus (I wanted to adopt him haha) the energetic person with the loud smile and glasses making our subs definitely needs to be promoted I’ve never had someone so efficient that didn’t mess up my husbands order, she knew what she was doing and how to do it right
As truckers we get treated like crud, but your staff made us feel like family (well all but the so called manager who wasn’t doing anything)

Stopped here yesterday on the way to Eli from Reno and it was the best location I’ve visited so far! My breakfast sandwich was perfection and stayed hot for over 30 minutes til I was near Wells. The morning staff was great and friendly! Thought they deserved a review since I didn’t have time to pass a comment to the owners. I’ll be back real soon..

We love Port of Subs. Unfortunately, this location could have better service. The last time we came here, the lady working was rushing us even though it wasn’t busy. When my husband asked her to slow down so he could focus on each sandwich (he had 4 he was ordering) she rolled her eyes and said, “Well we just make sandwiches fast back here.” Each time I try to come here the same lady is rude, no greeting, no smile, she hardly even looks me in the eye and acts annoyed. I’m definitely done giving people my money who have zero customer service, especially when it is already expensive to eat out.

First issue: stop closing the restaurant at Dinner Time 6 pm is way to early and if your at a truck stop your customers are truck drivers who don’t fixed hours but it would be nice to show up at a place that has hours during the supper hours. Second issue: employees shouldn’t have piss poor attitudes towards their customers if the customer arrives 5 minutes before closing time.

These guys are so awesome. My husband didn’t stop to pick up our order one night, and we are a 45 minute drive from the location and it was almost closing. They just let us come and pick up the next day, and remade all the sandwiches fresh, too!!! They were not obligated in any way, it was all our screw up and they went above and beyond. Kudos to good customer service!!!!
