Absolutely love this place!
I had the strawberry banana waffle and my husband had the port hope combo.
Both were delicious and filling!
Our server, Faith, was awesome. She’s super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. We are new in town and slowly discovering our new favourite places and the Port Hope Diner is at the top of the list.
The decor is super fun with chrome table legs and fun Formica table tops.
We were served right away, the food came out nice and quick, and the prices are great. We will be back.

We had a great experience at this diner. Our server, Faith, was very attentive and made sure we were properly taken care of from start to finish. The food was excellent. We enjoyed a Reuben sandwich and a crunchy chicken sandwich, both of which were delicious. To top it off, we tried the Maria cake, a special homemade treat that was absolutely incredible. Big shout out to Faith and the team for making our visit such a pleasant one!

An amazing lunch there today. The burger was one of the best I have had in a long time. It was seasoned well, perfectly cooked and presented. This burger would satisfy anybody’s appetite with 8 oz of meat, a generous slice of peameal bacon, good cheese and a fried egg. I also found the prices were very reasonable.

My lovely wife of 8 years and I stopped in for lunch on our travels from Ottawa to Sarnia. We searched for diners on Google Maps and this option came up.
We both had the French onion soup and shared a Greek salad. Delicious I tell ya!
Highly recommend. We will make this a regular stop when travelling this way.

We stopped here for a quick lunch and it was EXCELLENT! The pork souvlaki dinner was incredibly flavourful – perfectly seasoned meat, fresh salad, fluffy rice, and warm pita. We also tried the classic breakfast with a side of pancakes, and everything was top notch: crispy bacon, perfectly cooked home fries, and some of the best homemade pancakes we’ve had in a long time. You can taste the difference because everything here is made fresh in-house, never frozen.
Faith was our server and she was outstanding – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She even shared a bit of the restaurant’s history, which made the experience even better. The owner himself is the cook, and his passion shows in every dish.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the music was great, and the service was above and beyond. Only small suggestion: a syrup bottle on the table would be handy for those amazing pancakes!
This spot is now a must-stop for us! Skip the ON Route and stop-in here for food, with a gas station nearby. Truly terrific food, authentic flavors, and exceptional hospitality. 5 stars all the way!

Stopped here for breakfast on the way home and absolutely fell in love, the atmosephere, the food, the service were all amazing. So many items on the menu that I want to now try and will definitely go out of my way to stop in again when I’m in town.
