Great roadside BBQ joint. Walk up to order with Outside seating and drive through only. There was a line of cars. Tasty Brisket sandwich with pickles and slaw in it. Yummy pink lemonade.

White beans are not seasoned just straight from can, they microwaved my Mac and cheese and still cold was told next time to bring it up and they will remicrowave it. The pork was 6.5 nothing special.

Never again. Sandwich’s are served on a small bun. The kind you get at the supermarket that are 8 pack for $1.25. Pulled pork is shredded into mush. Got a side of potato salad. I Like any potato salad, container so small only got two plastic spoonfuls out of it. So stingy. Not worth it. Sandwich supposed to come with chips. Got nothing.

Got the family pack. Pork, beans and slaw with mild sauce. Pork tasted like it was heavily salted. Glad to not see it full of fat though and overall it was good. Baked beans kinda come off as can beans but 98% of BBQ joints are the same. Overall beans where good. Coleslaw? Little heavy on the mayo, I think but again it was good. Mild sauce was good . We might visit again but still on the quest for that perfect BBQ!

I’m disappointed at the poor response to my complaint. The response to giving me a pack of buns with MOLD was a refund of $1 and some change and saying, ” Oh it happens sometimes ’cause it’s so hot in here.” Then she preceded to say the buns are cheapest item in a family pack that costs $24, that’s why I got a refund of a dollar and change. When I sent a picture of one of the buns, she said she would refund me for that bun. Really??? What??? They clearly don’t appreciate their customers, they don’t take responsibility for their actions, and they make excuses.
I love supporting small local businesses, but they won’t get another penny from me. I won’t be going back!

If you’re looking for a fancy, upscale restaurant with excellent table service and immaculate place settings, this ain’t it. But if you want some awesome, grab ‘n go BBQ with sides, Porky’s Pit is a great option for lunch or dinner. Walk up to the window, order, pay and take your food with you!
Keep in mind that this is old-school and they don’t accept cards – bring CASH. If you think that’s inconvenient, just know that the flavor that awaits you on the other side is well worth the trouble. Highly recommended!
