I saw a picture of their brisket and instantly knew I wanted to try it! There are a lot of places that make brisket, but they usually don’t have much flavor, so I really wanted one that came with sauce. I decided to give this place a shot, and wow so good!
I got the brisket with yams and mac & cheese, and oh my God, it hit the spot. It came warm and the portion was huge , half a pound of brisket easily feeds two people. I ate half with the mac & cheese and was stuffed, and my husband had the rest later and loved it too.
The brisket was super tender and tasted great, especially with the sauces. The mac & cheese was solid (better than a lot of places), and the yams were fire sweet, soft, and perfect. I’m so glad I found this place on DoorDash. Definitely ordering again soon!

I was looking for some good brisket and came across this place. Glad I gave it a shot because the food was amazing. I got the brisket with Mac and cheese and yams…everything was rockin! The brisket was very tender and flavorful. Mac was nice and cheesy.. the yams hit without being overly sweet. I def will be ordering again. Great food and great service.

The food was delicious. I ordered fried shrimp, which was succulent, Oxtails and Brisket was moist and tender. Oxtail gravy on their rice hit the spot. Jerk chicken was tender and tasty. Chicken rasta pasta taste was amazing, My wife had the fish, she love it and she is not easily pleased. Will be back for the fourth time. Lol

If you’re looking for a flavor that acts has a soul, Dame’s kitchen is the spot. It’s rare to find a place that masters both Jamaica and Soul Food, but chef Dame nails it. The Braised Oxtail is fall of the bone tender with a rich, savory gravy, and jerk chicken has that perfect authentic kick without being overwhelming. Let’s talk about that Rasta Pasta perfect flavor and spice level. Definitely a new local favorite.

Dame’s was good. Be advised that this is a “Ghost Kitchen” located in the “Picnic” across the street from the Belleville Fitness Facility. There is no restaurant nor dining area.
The oxtails had good flavor but were a little bit tough. The potato salad was good although there were no diced eggs in it (seems like something all the soul food restaurants are doing).
The fried fish – although from frozen, were seasoned and fried well. The green beans were literally flash boiled with no seasoning, I was expecting that they would be simmered down with some smoked turkey, chicken broth, or something, it was almost like they were an afterthought.
The portion size was excellent for the price. I would give them another try.

I recently had a grand opening for my new lash salon (Uniquely Done) and Dame’s kitchen catered all the food. The food was Amazing. We ordered a variety of items. For example, the chili pepper, shrimp, beef skewers, fried chicken, rice, and peas, etc. I will absolutely use them again and most importantly the service they provided was very professional.
