Pork Chop John’s has been serving delicious sandwiches in Butte for decades. This unassuming little restaurant in Uptown may not look like much, but it’s one of the best places in town to eat. With reasonable prices and excellent food, it’s a must-visit. I highly recommend trying the pork burger it’s part of their secret menu—a personal favorite!

Go here. That’s it. The food is cheap and delicious. It was super fast as well. For sure impressed with the place as a whole. It is kind of a dive but don’t let that discourage you. It was opened first back in the 30s. The staff here are awesome. They know a lot about the town and give great recommendations on food to order. The fries are crispy and the sandwiches have well balanced flavor. Get a porkchop sandwich fully loaded.

Perfect spot for a quick bite. Small shop with no seating areas, but definitely big flavors!! Got the pork chop sandwich which was delicious and good portion. Also ordered the pork nuggets and got the white sauce (garlic sauce, perfect with the nuggets and fries). Will certainly miss this place.

I know the downtown one is filthy. I’ve seen them drop stuff on the floor and then serve it. Always resorted to uptown PCJ’s. This man was the nicest guy ever. But raw dogged all 10 of my pork nuggets with his fingers then walked away to put gloves on AFTER the fact my nuggets touched the whole insides of his palms and ALL. I’m sorry but I immediately got so grossed out won’t ever be eating at a PCJ’s ever again. Sealed the deal.
