Love this place! Sign on the wall says they’ve been around since 1946 and I believe it. Counter seating, old diner tables and chairs. Love the atmosphere, good food, friendly staff.

Old school dinner, constantly excellent. If you’re near downtown Santa Ana and not having breakfast here, you’ve chosen poorly.

Great little breakfast and lunch place. It opens up early in the morning and closes at 1:30 in the afternoon. Very classical looking to1950s diner. Had a great pastrami and BLT sandwiches for lunch once. But the first time we went in for breakfast. I had the corned beef hash and my wife had sausage biscuit and gravy with eggs on the side. Both were awesome but the best thing we had was the deep fried french toast with what Jose recommended chocolate and strawberries on top that was the best.

One of the premier spots in OC. Serive is quick and food is so so tasty. You have to try this place. It is not exactly traditional. The portions are huge, and for the right price. This place has its own style and I will always fond time to stop and eat here.

I was there a couple weeks ago and I was completely disappointed . I decided to sit inside in one of the tables close to the windows food didn’t arrive just yet when for some reason I decided to lift up the salt and peeper next thing you know there’s a bunch of tiny roaches crawling on the table. I felt so disgusted moments later my food arrive . I took a bite or two but just felt so disgusted I ended up leaving.

I enjoy pops. It’s wonderful to have a traditional meal at a family restaurant that has been there for a while in Santa Ana. I always have a fantastic morning when I visit Pops because of the laid-back atmosphere and the kind service! In addition, the food is outstanding! Please acknowledge the server with the glasses as well! You’re fantastic man, you manage to balance everything so effortlessly, from taking orders to bringing out platters!

Feels like small town eatery, it is. Food is delicious, generous portions, and reasonable price. If you have to wait a minute for a table, it’s well worth it!
