Pop’s Better Burger is exactly that– a good old fashioned Country Mom and Pop eatery. It feels homey and the ambiance is genuine. The walls are covered with decades of local stories of sports from the community and innumerable photos of patrons over its 40 year history. I only had a banana split because I was planning on dinner later, but when I go back, I’ll want to try one of their loaded homemade burgers. I hope you stop and enjoy this eatery. It’s small businesses like this that need our support!

First of all I want to comment on the guy who talked about money laundering. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. What does the quality of food have to do with illegal activities? Anyway, I have been eating Pop’s since it first opened. I have fond memories of Pop cooking up those savory burgers. I can still picture him behind the counter. Unfortunately he is no longer with us. Every once in awhile I bring my grandsons, but I have to say this last visit was disappointing. It’s a bit pricey which is understandable, but the burgers are definitely different. They are surely not Pops burgers. Not the burgers I remember. My grandson did enjoy his though. I did enjoy my visit. I love how everything is the same.

This is a Fabens exclusive and it really pays off. I’ve been going to this place since I was 6 and the food always taste amazing. Its a hidden gem of a old classic American diner experince. Burgers are fairly priced too so give jt a try!
