I was grateful that Poppi’s Pastrami & More was at the Hot Rod Reunion Drag Race last weekend. Their food and their sweet tea was very good. The staff that was working all weekend were incredibly friendly and they kept everyone’s spirits up while in line or waiting for food. I hope that they come back for the next event.

Excellent food, excellent service, and personality galore. Misty (sp?) and crew are absolutely amazing. We’ve used them for several large events in the past couple years and have not been disappointed in the least bit.
If you want excellent food, and a caterer who has a personality that makes you want to invite her to your next gathering, look no further.
PS- Ask her about rescuing pigs for some epic belly laughs.

The owner takes pride in her food and it shows! Now the price is higher but you definitely get your money’s worth. Not to mention supporting a local family run business. I was not a beliver until I tried it and then I had to talk with the owner because she is the cherry on top, very passionate about not only her food but the community as a whole. I’d rather spend a little more for great food and supporting such good people in the kern county community. Oh she is a traveler so hit them up and find where to go!

I’m not even mad I spent 12 bucks on what would be considered a basic cheeseburger. It was INCREDIBLY delicious. I wanted another one so bad but one filled me up. The flavors and textures were just so good I wanted to keep tasting it. The service was super friendly, fun, and sassy too. Can’t wait to try one of the pastrami items, I have a feeling it’s going to blow my mind. 🙂

I finally taste the pastrami sandwich it was very small sandwich and very salty and it was not worth $18 I can get a better bigger pastrami sandwich at Andres combo fries and drink for $14 and believe me customers it’s worth it this is not the best pastrami sandwich in Bakersfield I will never go back to poppis

Hot damn!! By far one of the best and most expensive pastrami sandwiches I’ve had in a long while. Thought $18 for a 6″ sandwich….INSANE!! However, the amount of meat on that bad boy, well, it’s 1:30 on a nice football Sunday and am thinking I’m skipping dinner! It was stacked and stuffed so nicely, whew!

Food was fairly overpriced for what you get. Additionally there is a $3 service charge for credit card that was not disclosed during the transaction. For one person this was too expensive and not worth the money.
