Came in and bought crawfish today, spent about 60 dollars. The crawfish are super small but that’s understandable early on in the season the issue I have is they are severely over cooked and can’t even get the meat out of the tails many heads apart from the tails. The corn also looks many hours old most likely from over cooking in mass batches. Will not order crawfish again. My shrimp order and my beigns were good as always

Highly Recommend Poppa’s Wharf Seafood. I normally get the fried fish basket, with my wife taking advantage of the crab leg clusters (when Crawfish are not in Season). Poppa’s Wharf continues to exceed our expectations every time we stop in to grab a bite. Every time we order, the food is freshly cooked with the perfect amount of season. Stop in and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. 5 Stars all the way.

Was clean, not a cozy place if wanting a romantic date night however the Seafood Platter for two is perfect with enough to take home. Plenty for what you pay for, tasted good…boiled shrimp was not the best, fried shrimp was much better. Would go back.

Fried shrimp were spot on! The onion rings aren’t sliced too thick or too thin and weren’t greasy at all I even liked the fresh garlic bread. Amber took my order and was very sweet and professional

Overall, clean and good food. I had crawfish and they were cooked perfect, not too spicy. Some were a little soggy and the potatoes and corn were cold. A little pricy for $5.29 lb then having to purchase potatoes and corn separately. My husband had a burger and it was just a regular average joe, plain hamburger. Nothing fancy and not a homemade patty for sure. We had an appetizer of fried mushrooms, but they came out at the same time as our food and were cold, but tasted good. These would be amazing if they were brought out fresh! Mostly young people working, that didn’t have much service etiquette. Overall, okay for a local place and not having to drive far for seafood.

Disappointed… I got crawfish here this evening and honestly it was very disappointing. I sucked a few of the heads and they had no flavor at all and most of them were very tiny. I ended up resorting to peeling them and dipping them in hot sauce to get a little flavor. I will say the seafood platter that another guest got looked great. I’m not going to knock the other menu items but skip the crawfish, and in my opinion they were much better at their original location.

I enjoyed the fish and oysters on the combo platter the shrimp were nothing special. The service was not table service but they do bring your food out to you and will clean the table after your gone. The welcome at the front when placing your order could be greatly improved. Overall a have ⭐⭐ 4 stars because of the good fish and oysters.
