Reluctantly drove 30 minutes. Ended up somewhere that felt like stepping into another little world inside Tucson

The green chile beef was spicy, rich, and deeply satisfying, and the frybread itself was unreal: lighter and less doughy than usual, perfectly crispy when eaten fresh, and not greasy at all.

What really sealed it was the people. Genuinely friendly, easy conversation, classic warm Tucson energy. You feel welcome, not rushed. Add easy parking, a covered seating area, and generous portions, and it’s the kind of place you don’t forget.

Worth the drive. Worth leaving your comfort zone. Eat it immediately ✅

Can’t say much about atmosphere as it was only me and another couple getting food at the time I was there (630ish pm). I ordered the popover red chili sandwhich and it was good. Just the right amount of flavor and spice, they put it on a plate and wrapped the whole thing in foil which was great, and it was basically done by the time I ordered it.

We moved away from Tucson in 2016 and came back to visit. Been seeing this place from Albuquerque where we live with great reviews. Had the combination red chili taco and man the food was delicious, to die for. The owner was great too. Came out and talked to us. Great service, food, friendly and professional all the way around. Well definitely have to get another round before we leave.

So disappointed today. After driving 40 minutes to get this, our order was wrong. We ordered a red Indian taco, another red taco with beans, a Christmas Indian taco, and one with honey and powdered sugar. Along with three drinks. After we got the order there was two green and one Xmas. I tried asking the guys about a discount to just order two more red since I didn’t want the green ones to just go in the trash. He told me he couldn’t have gotten the order wrong for two of them and that my husband ordered two green. I said he wouldn’t have said green at all because he wanted red, I wanted red and my daughter wanted Xmas. He still disagreed. He refused to offer any discount and was rude about the fact he couldn’t have been wrong. I don’t think I’ll be making this drive again to spend $60 and not get the order right and then catch attitude over it. They were nice enough to make red ones for full price though. I’ll go to La Indita next time where they have better customer service and salsa.

Amazing Indian Christmas taco. The meat was so tender and well seasoned. The popover (sweet fry bread) was exactly what you expected and more. I truly enjoy local owned and supporting small business. If you want to have some delicious on the go food I HIGHLY recommend this food truck whole you’re out and about!

This is a food truck type restaurant with outdoor seating. The staff was pleasant & the turn around time was quick.

I had the Christmas Popover & it was delicious. It is a big serving which I could have easily shared. Almost too my h for one person. The popover was fresh & perfectly cooked, the red chili was tasty. The toppings were plentiful. It was not spicy & their salsa is pato sauce but they tell you that on the menu.

I will be back to try the Green Chili & sweet popovers.

My family and I tried this frybread at the Pascua Yaqui Recognition and let me tell you, it was delicious! I got the bean and cheese popover and it was fluffy and not too salty which some frybreads are. I would definitely eat from here again!
