Do I dare say there’s a new boss in town? Popolo’ Pizza absolutely blew me away. From the first bite, you can tell this place takes pride in what they do. The crust is perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, the toppings are fresh and plentiful, and the sauces tie everything together in the best way possible.
And I have to give a shout-out to Ms. Melissa, an absolute all-star who made the experience even better with great service and a welcoming vibe.
If you’re looking for seriously good pizza, I highly recommend you try Popolo’s Pizza. You won’t be disappointed.

So good!! Ordered a large pepperoni and a small bbq chicken came out to $35 bucks. Not too shabby considering pizza prices now a days, the pizza itself was phenomenal!! The crust to toppings to sauce ratio is magnificent definitely hope to come back and try the Hawaiian next as that is my favorite pizza. My kids loved it and so did I, great job you guys ❤️

Not gonna lie — when this place opened in the Ranchos, we were hyped. Pizza Factory is basically chaos in a cardboard box, and Me-N-Ed’s tastes like the employees with the ankle monitors actively resent you for ordering food. So a new pizza spot sounded like the second coming.
It was not.
Opening day, we walked in expecting greatness and walked out feeling like we’d been mugged. The pizza tasted like someone slapped DiGiorno on life support and charged boutique prices for it. Two small pizzas and a garlic bread for $50? At that price, I expected the garlic bread to at least whisper affirmations or solve my childhood trauma.
We’ve gone back three times — because apparently we’re slow learners — and each time I felt like I needed to hop on the dark web and auction off a kidney just to pay the bill for pizza that tastes like it was unfrozen during a staff meeting. Popolo’s used to be known for their crust back on Blackstone days. Now the crust tastes like it was made during the Obama administration and left out to think about its life choices.

This is NOT the Popolos of the past. Subpar pizza, waited way longer than I should’ve and they pizza was wrong. The place is tiny, it has hard metal chairs, no way can you have a larger group than 6 or so. The pizza crust didn’t taste fresh, the sauce was dumped in the middle of the pie and pushed all the way out to edge making the middle dry and the full of sauce. The sauce tasted like canned tomato sauce. Being a long time pizza maker and a fan from the first location, this was disappointing. Edit: Wow, I should read my son’s review.

My pizzas were overcooked. The bread was hard. My jaw got a good workout. I usually get my pizzas from across the street but wanted to try this new spot out. I think I’ll go back to the spot across the street for now lol
