This place has quickly become our new favorite. It’s cozy and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious — it truly feels like you’re eating in Italy.
Carina has taken care of us all three times we’ve been here, and she is incredible. She’s extremely kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She took the time to walk us through the menu and specials, told us about upcoming events, and even shared a few friendly conversations with us. We genuinely felt so well taken care of.
She’s the best, and we hope she’s there every time we visit. We highly recommend this place — it’s truly a hidden gem. Please check it out!!

I just stopped by for dinner with my friends and we had such a great waitress, Karina, who was very sweet and was so helpful. She made my first experience at this restaurant worthwhile and notified us of another event that they would be hosting soon that my friends and I will be doing our best to come back for! Each and every visit to Popolari is incredible. The staff is attentive and wonderful. Armando goes above and beyond to ensure that all customers always have a perfect dining experience. I have dined here dozens of times, placed countless catering orders and have even thrown private events in the Bloomfield location. Doesn’t get better than Popolari!

I absolutely loved everything single thing about this place. It feels so aesthetic as well as authentic. I am extremely grateful to our server of the night her name was Karina. She was wonderful and so helpful. She kept checking up with us and made sure everything was to our liking. Not once did anyone in my table feel rushed or pressured she made everyone so comfortable with her amazing demeanor and kindness. All the food was amazing words can’t describe. I had the mushroom pasta 100/10, it definitely tasted like nothing I have had before it was so delicious. I will 100% recommend this place to any and everyone.

Popolari was recommended by an acquaintance as having excellent food, and it did not disappoint. We went for a small birthday celebration and felt like we were walking into a favorite neighborhood restaurant fron our childhood. The classic Italian posters and decor feel cozy and inviting. Carina, our server was warm and welcoming. I have some mobility issues and she could not have been more kind and accommodating. The Caesar salad and veal milanese were excellent, and the pasta perfectly al dente. The gnocchi with pistacchio basil pesto was unbelievable. The portions are large and we brought home some of everything, delighted and looking forward to having it again. The prices are extremely reasonable and the quality excellent. Best, the finale was when we asked about dessert to celebrate a birthday. We were surprised by a slice of flour less chocolate cake (to die for) with a sparkler and Carina and the owner singing. The evening could not have been nicer. I cannot recommend Poplari enough, and I can’t wait to go back.

We had such a wonderful time tonight at Popolari. Our server Carinna was so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious! I had the homemade malfadine with mushrooms which was amazing! We started with arancini and my friends ordered pasta with clams, pappardelle bolognese, and Chicken Marsala. Everything was great and the service was exceptional.

Popolari is one of my favorites! Everyone I bring has loved everything they’ve tried, especially the spicy rigatoni vodka. The staff is amazing, especially Carina who is so kind and attentive. Can’t recommend Popolari enough.

I’ve been to Popolari several times for date nights while visiting from Canada, and it’s always been great. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is a vibe, and the service is outstanding.
Tonight our server was Carina. She was friendly and gave a great wine suggestion that paired well with dinner. Despite the restaurant being busy, Carina checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed & was prompt. Throughout our visit she maintained a friendly, and professional attitude. It’s always great to keep coming back to Popolari for not only great food, but great service. Great service is what makes customers keep coming back, making Popolari is one of my favorite restaurants in Jersey!

I came in for dinner and was blown away by how good everything was. The spicy vodka with breaded chicken was incredible. Easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time.
Our server, Kiera, made the night even better. She was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations. You can tell she really cares about making sure guests enjoy their meal.
Highly recommend Popolari if you’re looking for amazing Italian food and great service. I’ll definitely be back!
