Pretty standard for a Popeye’s. Definitely scratches my fried chicken itch, but it’s not crazy delicious or special. The chicken was cooked well. Not burnt or undercooked. Service was fast and smooth. Also they now only take orders via kiosk

I placed an order today through the Popeyes app. For a consistent 30min, the app stated “driver has arrived” but at that time no driver had arrived. A few minutes later I saw a car pull in (the status then changed to delivered) & the driver parked not far from me (at first) then proceeded to eat a Popeyes order. The manager at the location from which the order was placed stated she was unable to help because once the order is placed it’s sent through doordash. Doordash also refused to assist. My daughter never received her dinner & I did not receive a refund. I am unable to place a new order this evening. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me on the app. And just previous to this I escalated an order that I placed in the store at the Rancho Cordova location & never heard back. That was in December. Worse customer service I’ve ever received.

First time visit and I really enjoyed the food. Fresh, hot and tasty. Fries a little soggy but potato skin on can do that. Still tasty. Sad they didn’t have the fried pickles.

If I could give this restaurant in particular a “0” I would! This is the second time my family has been here and the staff is very rude. I got into an argument with an employee over here offering proper customer service. First of all I came to the counter and I’m sure the staff seen me standing there for more than 5 minutes and no one said anything. I was paying with ebt so I had no idea I could order at the kiosk, when I was instructed to do so I did. I came back to the counter to pay and the short Mexican girl that was “helping” me was talking mess on her microphone to staff in the back the entire time. She says I was rude, but who wouldn’t be upset standing at the counter for more than five minutes then she went on to say “well the sign says to pay at the kiosk” I didn’t read that and had no idea I could do that while paying with ebt. The whole altercation could’ve been avoided if you didn’t hire rude obnoxious people in my opinion. You work in customer service, you don’t just talk to people and look at people any type of way. I didn’t make you work at Popeyes, that’s your fault you’re in hospitality boo boo. & for you to automatically assume I’m on ebt because I’m paying with it is diabolical. You don’t know who let me use their card or what my situation is, but hey. Anyways, you don’t treat people bad, because you never know who you’re servicing or what opportunities you may pass up. Working in a service position you should work with a smile, you could make someone’s day better. But for real go get help mama, because I feel like it’s deeper than you just having a bad attitude. 🙂

This Popeyes is the absolute WORST. The service is abismal. Even with no one there, they had us pull in to a spot to wait for our food. It literally came out 15 minutes later. The fries were ice cold. They didn’t give us the cheesecake we ordered. Refused to give a refund. The workers are incredibly rude. Even the “manager”.

Their chicken pieces keep getting smaller and smaller. Come on… higher prices and less product. Who wants that? Any one remember Long John Silver? They kept making meals with less fish and more breading until all you got was a tiny piece of fish heavy in batter. Which is why I think LJS are not around anymore.

Believe it or not this was actually my 1st time ever going to a Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen. The building and the wood work interior of the building are super nice and I loved the decorations that they had. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering my questions about the food and menu options. I chose to get the chicken tender meal with with beans and rice rice, it also came with a biscuit and a drink, I ordered my chicken tenders spicy. I must say that it was everything that I had hoped for, it was delicious, it was piping hot, it was spicy, and very flavorful. I was actually very surprised that there was a biscuit that came with it and that they gave me honey without me asking for it. As I was leaving the cashier that helped me choose my meal called me by name and asked me how I what I thought of my 1st experience, I told her it was great and I will see her soon!

Every time I ordered a chicken sandwich with no mayo there is always mayo. and then the sandwich hits the trash because I’m allergic to mayo. So if you have simple requests don’t bother with this location you will at a minimum waste your time having them remake it
