I never write bad reviews even when I do they’re not bad just honest. I Sent my father-in-law into Popeyes with a specific order knowing I’d have to pay extra knowing it be extra knowing all of the above about my order but I wanted him to have the order so that the whole family was happy because that’s what we do around holidays was totally side swiped blinded of how the customer service as well as the management handled the order ( they didn’t want to honor a senior discount or do the extra step go through management and get the senior discount)
left with the order without the discount of a senior or the correct food but we didn’t know at the time, came home with the order sent him back with the order without me getting super mad because it’s Christmas and the order still not correct even with word for word order directions and us not being treated like basic customers knowing we had to pay extra knowing willing all the above but the customer service as well as the way they handled things was not Popeyes or any industry acceptable.
Ordered and paid for extra sides we received no extra sides but this extra container full of gravy And they weren’t busy

Ordered the 3 piece spicy tender combo. What I got was a 6 piece spicy bone in chicken with no biscuit. I don’t mind the extra chicken but really wanted the tenders. Not receiving the biscuit is like not getting your fryers with the burger. Seems they might have issues with keeping employees or having scheduling issue.

This place was not busy when we walked in. We used a kiosk to order our food (a combo #3 and a combo #5). Food didn’t come out until we approached the counter 15 minutes later.
The food is just warm and salty. The chicken tenders are not tender, and the buns for the sandwich are just cold.
A very disappointing experience, to say the least.

Nothing really bad about this new location. The place is still clean after a few weeks of grand opening. The colors inside are bright and shine. 2 drive through lanes, outdoor sitting, big parking lot thats shared with the business building nearby. Near the 60s freeway to make traveler more convenient for a quick bite.
I got here around 1145 and it got quite busy. There are 3 kiosk machines so its more like a self ordering system. There is one counter that none of the workers were standing by so I guess the counter was just a backup in case it gets too crowded or the machines malfunction. Alot of mobile orders too so if you decide to order food here, plan ahead. There is a tc screen up top where the pickup food counter and the information shows the order status.
I order 3 pieces of legs and one cajun fries. Waited around 10 minutes. I don’t mind the wait since its lunch time but the chicken that came out weren’t that hot so not sure what took them so long to do my order since they are just grabbing the chickens from their oven. If they have to make new ones then I understand the wait time and the food should be more hot.
Anyways, other than the wait, everything else is fine and what can you expect more from a fast food restaurant. I give them the nicer way out for 4 star.

Edit: December 8th .Make sure to check your order, they got my order wrong so I had to drive back again. At least they let me keep the wrong order I guess.
The place is pretty crowded. I placed order via Popeyes APP and it says “Your order will be ready soon” after 40+ minutes it still doesn’t say ready. I drove there and asked for my order and it’s already done but the app was still not updated. The food looks rushed and after 40 minutes the chicken are cold.

This place is exactly what I expect from a Popeye’s: fried chicken at the fast food level and a not so clean interior. Prices for fast food have gone up across the board, so it may be pricier than expected. I would recommend getting the $6 two chicken combo box if you just need a quick bite to eat. The plaza is kind of hard to turn into, it’s right next to the freeway.

This was honestly the worst Popeyes I’ve ever had. If it wasn’t for the packaging, I would have thought I ordered from somewhere else. The chicken was extremely dry and had almost no flavor at all. It didn’t taste fresh and was very disappointing. I ended up feeling like I completely wasted my money. Definitely not the quality I expected.

This was our 2nd time visiting the only Popeyes in the area. The first time we only had friend chicken. This time we came back and wanted to try everything. 1st, let’s talk about the food. 1. We ordered the flounder fish sandwich. Yes, we compared it to McD fil-o-fish. Tasted good. Having two slices of pickles was a good touch. The fish was fried a bit too long. 2. The fried pickles: awful. I loved fried pickles. Couldn’t taste any pickles. Either the batter was too thick, fried too long, and/or re-fried too many times, it was awful. 3. Boneless Chicken wings: it was good. I got garlic parmesan. For some reason it was spicy. 4. We also ordered a 4-pc dark chicken combo with bean and rice. The chicken is done right, very delicious. Now let’s talk about service. 1. We drove up, placed our order. Paid with cash. After awhile we were told to wait at the next window because something about the chicken wings. We waited at the 2nd window. That’s where the drive-thru path narrowed and we got many mad drivers who waited behind and eventually drove around us and gave us the stare. Some came dangerously close to our car. We waited and waited. Finally we parked the car in the lot and went to the restaurant to check what happened with our order. The door was locked. So we did the drive thru again. We pulled up to the window. Another lady came to the window and told us we shouldn’t have pull away. In a nice way, it was all our fault. Gave us a bag. We drove away. It was already past 8 pm. So we decided to eat in the car instead driving home. To our surprise the bag didn’t have everything we ordered, especially the long awaited chicken wings. So we drove through again. This time we were greeted by a young man. He asked us for a receipt. We didn’t get one when we paid cash .. just realized then. Luckily he was kind and trusting and knowledgeable enough to figure out our order number and set things right. He compensated us with more chicken wings and a pie.
My friend and I both believe that there is some communication gap among your workers in processing orders. It’s not easy to hire workers who would take ownership of problems. We didn’t have to go thru the drive thru the 3rd time to get our orders straightened out. Mistake happens. It’s how you deal with it that keep the customers.
We had a choice to go to other places that served fried chicken last night. This was our 2nd visit as I’ve mentioned earlier. The first visit left us a very good impression with the food and service, we had been telling everyone we know. After last night’s visit, I’m not sure when we will return.

Incredibly disappointing considering how long it took for this place to open. Ordered a three piece chicken combo and they gave me four pieces of stale tenders instead. They were crunchy in the bad way and my jaws were already sore before finishing the first tender. They were clearly cooked in advance since the breading was already cool to the touch when I got to it. The side that came with it was average, not exceeding any expectations, but also considerably better than the tenders. The food came out quickly, but do not mistake that for praise since they gave me the wrong order. Overall, this has been the average Popeyes experience for the area but I really hoped it would be better. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

New store location.. adjacent to the freeway…but only 1 customer inside… this location is inconspicuous, it’s surrounding area is mainly business parks, a major freight train hub…with the exception of a small neighborhood to the west of this store, and a rival burger franchise and gas station to the north. CalTrans ought to implement freeway exit signs that show various restaurants which would help boost businesses. As for the food it’s really sad. I ordered the 6 ghost pepper wings and 4 sauces for $9 and you couldn’t believe how little they are… incredibly sad and pathetic 75 % batter 25% chicken meat. The wing looks looks unrecognizable. I’ll stick to other chicken chains that don’t fry chicken.
