I never write reviews, but I was very disappointed with my visit to the Norwalk Popeyes today. We ordered the chicken tenders half spicy half classic. The spicy half was all small bits. Usually despite the wait and ok service, I drive farther to this location since they often get the order right.

Great food chicken with juicy and crispy, very fresh and delicious. This is 2025 while the staff here are nice people need to have realistic expectation. For fast food as long as they get me food fast and did not mess up my order this is five star. Stop complaining attitude problem they are short-staffed multitasking it might sometimes come off as rude but, this is fast food. Get your food and get out people.

First time ever going to a Popeyes because they had the FNAF collaboration going on. It was horrible.
First off I wanted to check if they had the meal and called. No answers even after 10 calls. When we got there we expected it full but it had maybe just two groups of 3-4 people already eating.
We wanted to sit down but in the corner there was a large lady relaxing with no shoes and practically laying down. It was disgusting.
When I ordered the set meal I waited about 5-10 before they told me my set meal wouldn’t come with everything advertised and I could exchange for different stuff on the menu. We couldn’t take it and just left.
Also, my brother had ordered some other meal set and they forgot his fries.
Worst experience for first timers. Definitely not coming here or to another Popeyes.

The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and pleasant. The employees however were not. We walked in and from the beginning the guy who took our order was rude! His tone was as if taking our order was annoying to him. It was a group of 3 and after one order he’s like ok is that it? Um no, we have two more people here….i didn’t catch his name I think it started with a J and he was wearing eyeliner and lipstick. Then I approached him for some packets and he and the manager chuckled and then he proceeded to drop them into my hands like I was bothering him. Made me feel very unwelcome. It’s unfortunate because we enjoyed the food. Hope the manager and he realize their attitudes can turn people away.

THIS is the only Popeyes anywhere near this area that I can recommend. I’ve tried quite a few and none come even remotely close to being as good as this one. Go out of your way if you must have Popeyes. For some reason the workers here actually care which I’ve honestly not encountered at almost any other location. For what it’s worth. No drive through, but seriously it’s worth it to just go in and grab it for the service you’ll get here.

I was extremely disappointed to place an order online, then upon arrival be told that my order is not available at all. I was told that they were sold out of what I ordered, but no one helped offer me a refund or even attempted to cancel my order before I went in. I felt as if the worker didn’t care much, and had no desire to fix the issue or give me other options. I have to wait 2 business days for a refund, which has never happened before when a mistake was made ordering fast food. It’s a bit upsetting but there are other Popeye’s I can go to in the future.

There’s a main guy who always works there.He’s always at the cash register.Every time I go, he always has some feisty attitude or it’s just demeanor is really main character, and it’s really annoying and obnoxious.Every time I have to go pick up an order from him. There was no reason to toss and throw the food down in front of me.

Manager was trying his best while his worker just talked and was playing around you much. Kept confusing the manager. Had to wait 20min for a mobile order that I ordered ahead atleast 15min before. Never going here again.

I am so disappointed in this establishment, came in with my nephew as I was telling him how good the food was before I was stopped by an employee and asked to use the kiosk to order. Problem is I only had cash and then he called a manager , when the manager implied that I must use kiosk to get service . I walked out very sad to know I won’t be coming back to my go to Popeyes chicken
