I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews about this restaurant. This was the first time for me having Popeyes tonight and I will tell you this the chicken was absolutely perfect. It was crispy. It was fresh. The biscuits were amazing and the spicy mashed potatoes were the bomb. Thank you for an amazing dinner

My husband loves his chicken there. He made sure to pick up a box with a spicy favorites with mashed potatoes and gravy red beans and rice of course. All for an affordable price. Excellent customer service. Blessings for 2026

Stopped by here when we were in town from San Antonio because we had a Popeyes craving lol! After reading the reviews we debated…. but thought Positive and are so glad we came in!! The chicken was Absolutely fresh and delicious!! Prev. review said it was over-cooked. Fries and mashed potatoes were equally fresh and delicious too!! Went to compliment the Manager about our Awesome Experience and found out Cristina was the New Manager for barely a week now and that the Employees working with her were also New! They were all working hard and/or tending to customers and cooking!. There was an elderly lady cleaning the lobby and she was ON IT!! It was cleaner that I’ve ever seen one before Great job!! to u and all ur staff Cristina and to the VP for listening to it’s customers and fixing the past issues!!!!

Food was excellent compared to popeyes where I live 40 miles south in Artesia Food here is very poor. Biscuits today were tasty and fries weren’t greasy and soggy the chicken was seasoned just right great chicken i ordered online picked up my order and it was the wrong order so I went back and went inside and explained to the cashier she was very rude and I waited another 27 minutes to get my correct order after the exchange I politely said thank you and did not respond.

I’ve waited to write this review because I wanted to see if it was a one off scenario with the last visit. But that does not seem to be the case. It’s ironic that the back of the workers shirt says “100% Friendly” but that definitely isn’t the vibe they put off. The heavy set lady at the counter literally rolled her eyes as we walked up. If you hate serving customers that bad then why do you have this job? I ordered the ghost pepper rub wings and it’s like they didn’t even try to season them. Almost every table was dirty from previous customers or there was a mess on the floor under the table. Either way you’re eating in filth. This place needs to step up their game in attitude, work ethic, and cleanliness.

I ordered the shrimp and 2 chicken strip combo with red beans and rice and Mac and cheese. I opened the bag and looked at the Mac and cheese. It was only like a quarter full so I got a new one of those. And then I drove home when I got home. The chicken strips were so small. One of them was like the size of my pinky, and the other one was a chicken nugget. I have a picture. It’s barely bigger than a piece of the shrimp, but it won’t let me attach photos. Horrible experience.

Why is it so hard to say hello when a customer comes up to the register. I thought the cashier was on her headset, so when I walked up to the counter I was afraid to actually order. She just looked at me and quietly said, “do you want to order?”. There was this weird look in her eyes like I don’t want to be here. She was not welcoming or friendly almost like leave I don’t want to work today. After my order I was told we don’t have mixed chicken just dark meat but at this time I was like whatever. They are not busy and no one really sitting in the dining area so I don’t know how they really stay open. The owner looks like she reads the reviews . But I need to tell you that your business will not survive this town if you seriously don’t get some good workers. With all the reviews that you are responding to, I’m sure you already know this. It’s a shame that you can’t find good help in this down.

Ordered our chicken to go. Order was taken and paid for and we sat down to wait. Counter person came over and advised they had no legs but could give us thighs. We agreed. He then came back and said they didn’t have any thighs only legs and breasts. After a discussion he agreed to make us some fresh. Finally got our order and headed home. At one leg and then dove into a thigh, just to find it was no where near cooked. Blood ran out. Only positive part was the counter person was very friendly and courteous.

I went in here to pick up a door dash for someone else and I don’t know if she was the manager but the woman who gave me the order practically threw the bag of food at me and was rude when I asked for the drink. This location is always a problem. I have also ordered myself food from here on DoorDash and only received half my order and my drink was wrong, which was really upsetting considering I live on the opposite side of town. Y’all need to hire better people. If she hates her job then find a different job but there’s no reason to be so absolutely rude
