Pros: I got super fresh sandwiches and they were really really good.
Cons: I ordered online Wednesday night and when I got there, it took forever for them to figure out what my order was despite my repeatedly showing them my receipt. Then one of the guys said, “Someone else picked up your order, it must have been for door dash.” I kept repeating no this was an order I made online for myself and my kids. THEY KEPT TRYING TO SEND ME AWAY WITHOUT ANY FOOD. They said they would remake it but it took them another 20 minutes and they kept coming back to ask what my order was (it was two sandwiches, beans and rice, and a drink… not hard?) and it was so awkward waiting there so long hoping every bag they put together would be mine, and it wasn’t.
It was so frustrating. After sitting on this for a few days I’m still bothered. Please don’t do that to someone after you lose their order, just remake it and send them on their way. Don’t make it so weird.
But man, it was DELICIOUS. And I really want to give them some slack because they look under staffed.
Tiny spice in the gravy and potatoes with Sweet Tea reminds of Louisiana home.
Popeyes has fallen on some hard times. I use to love going to Popeyes. This was a disgrace.
The food was burnt. Completely inedible. When I took a bite it was like tasting an ashtray.
We also had the chicken sandwich it was somewhat better only because it wasn’t burnt but it had the taste of old fryer oil that hasn’t been clean.
This place needs a new owner and quick!
We went today because my kids really like the mashed potatoes. I waited a normal amount of time before an employee comes to take my order. I am then told that I can only get mashed potatoes as the side for my combo if I do a mobile order. I was baffled.
So we sit down in a booth to do that. But the earliest order time is 20 minutes away. My partner went to ask the employee again and we were told that the manager said so and there’s nothing that van be done. Meanwhile, my hungry kids are starting to lose it, so we just leave.
It’s unfortunate, but it will likely be a while before we’re back to this location.
