I went to this location as I usually do when I am going home through Dripping Springs once a month. I love that their food is on point. I visited this location on Thursday and ordered my usual. This time I paid with cash. When I received my change I noticed it was short by .08 cents. I brought it to the girl’s attention at the drive-thru and she went on to tell me there are no more pennies in Texas and that is why I didn’t receive my .08 cents. I know they are not minting anymore pennies but to make it seem like they are now obsolete is totally incorrect. I asked her to round it off better. She seemed annoyed and returned a nickel with a bit of a tude. I was so totally turned off. I have a business and I have pennies on hand and will make correct change until I can’t. This is a franchise, not a small business. If this is their daily practice then their cash register is definitely showing a significant surplus at the cost of the consumer. Then to top it off, the meal I ordered, the chicken was a bit salty like the employee in the drive-thru. Popeye’s, you need to do better and teach your employee’s to properly “math” if you are going with the “there are no pennies in Texas” jargon.

I walked in today with some of my friends for a quick bite to eat. We were in a hurry so we placed it to go, however, an issue occurred upon us getting our food. Almost immediately I dropped it in the ground by accident, and the worker dropped instantly to clean it all up. He offered to replace everything and even add on some as compensation. The service here is truly immaculate and we will be returning, well done Gabe!!! ( and the rest of the popeyes crew)

I didn’t catch his name, but the young gentleman who helped me with my order on 10/7/25 around 5:30 PM was outstanding! He was friendly, helpful, courteous and gave great recommendations. He seemed like an all-around great guy! I’d love for management to recognize him for his excellent service and positive attitude.truly rare in today’s world.

Stop by drive-thru had to wait for a while for someone to come on the speaker, just to tell me to wait. Only one person in lobby eating. Also asked for a 20 piece family meal and spicy. Still had to wait. None were spicy. Any other day they are awesome. Today who ever was working they just didn’t care.

I really love Popeyes! One of the best things is that they’re open past 12 PM, which makes it super convenient when I’m craving something later in the day or at night. The food is always amazing—fresh, flavorful, and never disappoints. The staff is very friendly and I really appreciate how respectful they are, even late at night when most places don’t give the same level of service. Their great attitude and customer service make the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

I am a loyal customer and I’m very observant. The many times that I have dined in the restaurant the main employees are always working super hard taking orders and being on top of everything and super kind and friendly. The manager Ebed is rarely doing anything and is always super rude to customers whenever a problem arises and does absolutely nothing to fix it. Also anytime I’m there he’s always sitting down while there’s only 1-2 employees that are working extremely hard to attend around 45 customers. Bathrooms and Dining area are super clean tho
