The Franchise owner of these store is so cheap there is only 2 employees working the WHOLE store. There is big ol’manager woman in there too and whatever she’s doing it ain’t helping. There are two guys in that store busting their behind to run drive through and front counter. They are trying really hard to keep up, but I can see the drive thru screen has 3 orders on it, the in store/delivery board for has 8 orders on it and there are lots of customers standing around and no one to help them.
Now it isn’t the fault of those two gentlemen who are trying REALLY hard, but it’s 2 guys running a store that is designed for 4 to 5 employees not 2 and a lazy manager. I was in that store for 15 minutes and I heard “Hello” come across the drive thru, the two guys are super busy no one answers and the car drives off.
I see the store regional manager Chris Hernandez on my receipt with a number. I call Chris and have a 6 minute chat with him. He tells me that this is mandated by Popeyes that they can only have 2 employees in store at one time because it costs to much money. He makes lots of apologies but he clearly is just a yes man more worried for his job than the employees of his store.
I tried to explain to Chris that while trying to save money, you’re losing money. I saw 4 or 5 cars leave your drive thru. They came to your store to give you money and through you being cheap you sent them somewhere else. That the two poor guys in store working their tales off are going to burn out and do a poor job of making quality food which also hurts the brand. People aren’t going to continue to return when you sell them any kind of food that they feel was poorly made. So you’re hitting customers with a double whammy of poor service AND low quality food. Why would they EVER come back.
If Popeyes wants to be cheap by all means it’s your business run it how you want to. Yet, if you let your franchises hurt your brand every franchise suffers not just the one being cheap.
I’ve worked near store 4236 for most of the last 15 years and I can tell you what. After today, I won’t be back. I’m not going to patronize a franchise owner of a store that cares so little about me, that they give me poor service and poor quality food.

This was my second Time at this location and the white women with the makeup, thin black eyebrows with red and black hair taking my order was extremely rude she had an attitude when I asked politely for my sauces and kept walking away as well as slamming the window on me this is not good customer service, and it wasn’t the first time because she also was there last time and had the same attitude it is extremely ridiculous because we are human so I do understand having a bad day but that wasn’t her first time treating me this way please do better as a business.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order from this Popeyes location. The chicken I received looked old, and after taking a couple of bites, I realized it tasted just as bad as it looked. The rice and beans were off too—strange flavor and a weird smell that made me question whether the food was even fresh.
On top of that, the whole bag had a spoiled, greasy aroma that filled up my car the moment I opened it. Definitely not what you expect from a place like Popeyes.
When I called to ask for a refund, I was told I had to bring the food back in order to get my money back. I don’t have time to drive across town just to return bad food they shouldn’t have served in the first place. The way they handled the situation was unprofessional and honestly frustrating.
I won’t be ordering from this location again unless they improve the quality of their food and the way they treat customers.

Joseph, the manager did a great job at recover what would’ve been a ruined night for my family’s dinner. I had originally placed an online order at the N. Lamar store earlier this morning and scheduled a 7p pick up time. Well the Lamar never got my pre-paid order and refused to honor my receipt. They just said, sorry, we can’t help you. The staff didn’t care or bother to do something…. anything. I called this store in Pflugerville and they helped save the night. Joseph the manager did everything he could to make me feel valued. He had my order ready to go in under 15 mins. A total professional along with the rest of his staff. I will be coming back to this store from now on. Excellent job.

I was there for 20 mins after I ordered my food . I seen the lady walking around deleting orders so that it didn’t look like people were waiting. I don’t understand why you make people wait for their food some of us have 30 in lunches!? Food was disgusting and cold. I hope no one wastes there time or money here. If you do eat here go to drive thru. They make the food for them 1st.

I ordered a meal from Popeyes and a cup of water.
The cashier hands me a cup of water you clearly see dirty fingers on the cup. I asked if I could get a different water manager walks up because she sees her bring the cup back inside and say what she don’t want it.. I responded and said no ma’am can I please get a clean cup that cup is dirty manager rolls her eyes at me opens up the cup and chugs it in the drive-through why can’t I say that I don’t want that cup because it’s dirty.
