UPDATE: they in fact did mess up my order. Called the lady wasn’t very helpful just told me to go to the app at do a report. When I did the app was no help I was wanting a refund since no one wants to spend money on an order that was messed up on. Food was good though.
Nothing wrong food wise the food is always good. My issue is I paid $1 for a side of gravy. You’d think you’ll get a side of ACTUAL gravy in their 4-5 oz containers. I paid $1 for 2 oz. Was very fustrated so I had called them to see if there was a mistake but turns out they made it that way. Yeah $1 for some gravy that could be used on 1 chicken thigh……
If you want a side of gravy just make it at home you’ll get more for your money. The service was very good though no complaints on that. The young lady who handed my food was very sweet. The person who answered the phone as well was very understanding. Definitely will NOT be ordering sauces from them bc it’s just a scam at that point!

Don’t ask for more than two legs with your order, the manager’s policy is two legs per customer. She must be saving them for the next Chicken run sequel.
This is the fifth time that this has happened to me at the Buda location. Sometimes I have to pay a la carte just to enjoy a four-piece all leg lunch.
The manager today denied my request for a la carte legs.
Had to cancel my order and walk out….order at Kentucky fried Chicken, although it ain’t swamp chicken… they serve me four legs with no questions asked.
Hey manager, it doesn’t take a genius to order more legs, maybe you can get with the program and make the company some money.
As a matter of fact do an all leg and wing promotion and see the potential.

WORST Popeyes I’ve ever been to!!! I ordered the 3pc Signature Chicken Combo, it comes out in a To-Go bag for dine in. I open it up and it’s 1 chicken breast and 2 other TINY pieces of chicken, so I ask if I could swap 1 small piece out for a bigger piece and they say they couldn’t do that, and that they have ‘small chicken’ now…So I say please refund me, and they then said we’ll give you 3 breasts and I was very hungry and said fine. I eat 1 breast, and the other 2 were SUPER DRY and had to have been sitting under the heat lamps for a long time…biscuit was completely stale and tasteless. Best part of my meal was the Rootbeer, seriously. I returned the chicken breasts to them showing how incredibly dry it was and they said give them 15 mins to make new chicken…I walked out.…oh and they charge for sides of Buffalo sauce unlike every other Popeyes I’ve been to. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, WORST POPEYES IVE EVER BEEN TO! My experience honestly made me not want to eat at Popeyes ever again, and I’m NOT the type of person who complains!!

First and foremost, the girl in the drive thru who is always so rude, takes her job WAY TOO serious. I asked for honey and she will only give me one. I offered to pay for more and she refused. One honey per biscuit, this has happened me several times at this location. I won’t be returning, this girl acts like these packs of honey are coming out of her paychecks, is there some type of secret formula to this honey? lol

I ordered a simple sandwich. It took them 12 minutes to get my order out. They had me waiting in the drive thru with another car. I got off to see what was taking so long. The restaurant was completely empty. The only response I could get was an offer to refund my money. The manager was very rude. My advice to everyone is to find another chicken place to eat at. It’s not worth it to eat here!!!

This is quite literally the dirtiest fast food place i’ve been in. It’s only 11:20 AM and they just opened not long ago. I know they’re not cleaning just by coming in here. It’s such a shame because it’s such a new establishment and from the outside looks so prestige for a popeyes. I don’t like to go to fast food restaurants but i wanted to try this new popeyes in buda and here we are. The “manager” is also very rude and condescending all while he is wearing SANDALS in the kitchen. I have been watching him text and ignore people waiting to order as well. the guy infront of us tried to pay with a 20 and the manager told him that they didn’t have change so the poor guys had to order $20 worth of food. there needs to be a serious change of management here or just for someone put some care in. The owner needs to come here and just see what’s happening. it’s so absurd and will never be coming back.

Well the fries were so bad, the bone in chicken was salty and tasted like it was burned, the breast was very oily and like it didn’t finish cooking, the skin was white from the inside. Even the mashed potatoes were watery. Plus I think they don’t have enough personal. The girl at front was nice I asked her if something change because everything was so bad and she said yes. Plus they have the fries and everything on a pans which I never saw it like that at another. I had a video of my chicken but for some reason it’s not letting me upload. Go to Kyle it’s always good at that location.

This place used to be so much better. There was a manager here a while back who actually cared—orders were right, food was fresh, and the service was on point. Ever since they left, everything has gone downhill. I think her name was Maria?
My last visit was a mess. The chicken was soggy and barely warm, the fries were limp, and my order was missing items (again). The staff seemed lost and honestly didn’t seem to care. I asked about the missing side and got attitude instead of help.
The lobby was dirty, and no one was cleaning the tables. It’s like no one’s in charge anymore. It’s a shame because this used to be my go-to spot. Bring back whoever was running it before—they actually knew what they were doing!
Worst of all, the new management is just plain rude. I asked about a missing item in my order and got an attitude FROM THE MANAGER like I was being a problem for wanting what I paid for.
Like grow up.
