Holy. Cow. The lady in the window was rude. as. hell. I said no pickles due to a pickle allergy and of course they gave me a sandwhich with pickles. So I came back around to give them their sandwich and she damn near yelled at me saying they can’t take it back and to just throw it in the trash and they’ll get me one when they can get one and told me to wait on the side. I apologized sincerely and she said, “just pull up behind that car and wait over there.” Horrible customer service. Lumberton has been waiting for a popeyes this long with all this hype just for them to be dog water. Crazzyyyy.
Edit: it took them nearly 15 minutes to make my new sandwich with nobody in the line. Good god. Probably the last time I will ever go to the popeyes in Lumberton and I will make sure to tell others that I know to avoid this location.

Came thru the drive thru on 2/14. pulled right to the speaker, couple cars in front of me but didn’t have to wait very long. the heavy set lady in the drive thru was the absolute sweetest and gave us everything we needed! the food was correct, hot and fresh! great job Popeyes, glad to see y’all back!

Hot fresh chicken and biscuits. They just reopened 12-30-25. Very efficient new staff. Told the manager they are doing good at providing excellent food that is hot and fresh. Even there red beans and rice is on-par with what we remember it being at one point before new management.

Took about 15 to 20 minutes to get our food after arriving at the window. Once the food was received, the quality of the food was poor. There were no napkins and no spoon for the red beans and rice. So we went back to the window to simply ask for napkins and a spoon; however, the server was argumentative and initially insisted they were in the bag but after a few moments relented and gave us the utensils anyway. There’s no reason to become argumentative over simple utensils or napkins. The chicken in the sandwiches was poorly seasoned if at all and was bordering on being tough. The boneless garlic parmesan wings were extremely tough and dry and were barely seasoned at all, with most of the seasoning being in the floor of the box.
Overall, a poor quality experience due to the long wait for subpar food and poor server quality. There has sadly been no improvement since the store’s original closure, and I’d recommend any customers who want Popeyes to go to the Nederland location in the gas station as it is leagues beyond the Lumberton location in speed, quality, and a friendly staff.

so i have waited to go here new it would take time to work out the kinks.went to day around 2:45 very few cars in the parking lot.i could see a couple of cars in tbe drive through.i went inside for service.i was welcomed as soon as i walked in.i was the only person waiting at the counter.had at least two employes walk by and never took my order.when they did i asked about the nine piece that is on the on line menue.i was told they did not offer that.the 9 piece meal on line was 20.oo dollars.i ordered the 8 piece chicken only and it was 20.00 dollars.i was told that that they had to wait on the chicken no big deal.while i was waiting the had called out several other people waithing in ther order and it was wrong.they called my name 3 times and the order they tried to give me was some one else. i felt that this place was total un organize. 8 piece at popeyes chicken only 20.00 8 piece at kfc chicken only 10.00

Hello we stop at your facility yesterday evening and order some chicken breasts and wings and we got breast and legs which was wrong. We did not want any legs but we had drove off and was gone too far to turn. Appreciate if you can take care of this. The next time we come through there.

I really don’t understand when restaurants that specialize in certain products run out of said products. That tells me that they didn’t plan ahead and order when they saw they were running low of said item. I went today they said they were out of biscuits then said they had the biscuits but it would be a wait, but then are out of the very side that I literally even usually come here for. So annoying so I had to settle for items I really didn’t want. I should have just cancelled the whole order at that point.
