The food was partly good overall, and I did enjoy some aspects of my order. However, the main issue I experienced was the excessive wait time. For a fast-food restaurant like Popeyes, especially in the drive-thru, I do expect the service to move a bit quicker than it did. The wait felt longer than necessary, and at one point it did become frustrating, as I was sitting in line for quite a while without much communication about the delay. Faster service is something Popeyes is known for, and this experience did not fully meet that expectation.
That being said, the drive-thru employee, Yasmin, truly stood out in a positive way. She was incredibly polite, patient, and friendly throughout the entire wait. She acknowledged the delay, remained professional, and treated me with genuine courtesy instead of rushing or sounding irritated. Honestly, the only reason I chose not to leave the drive-thru and go somewhere else was because of her attitude and kindness. Her customer service made the wait much more tolerable, and I truly respect that level of professionalism—especially when dealing with delays that may be out of her control.
As for the food itself, I ordered the 16-piece meal. While most of the chicken was fine, the biscuits were disappointing, as they came out hard and dry instead of soft and fresh like they usually are. Biscuits are an important part of the meal, so that was a letdown and affected the overall experience.
In summary, while there were some issues with wait time and food quality, Yasmin’s excellent customer service made a strong positive impression and helped balance out the negatives.

Waited in drive thru line for about 30 minutes before I got to order. made my order and checked everything out in the bag and it appeared to be correct.
That is where it all went downhill. The food was awful, the drinks tasted weird. It was 2 different sodas. I would say the grease is old because at 11-1130 am there shouldn’t be old chicken laying around. I got a mix of things for 3 people. Chicken tenders, spicy chicken sandwich and a 3 piece. All of it was awful. It is now the third time trying the new location and it just hasn’t been anything like I expect or know with Popeyes. I will be driving to Bridge City because it is so much better.
Service was decent once you got your order placed. It started to speed up.

Ordered spicy chicken 11 piece family meal and got over cooked original chicken. This is the slowest restaurant in town and they can NEVER get orders right. So ready for the new Popeye’s to open so I don’t have to keep going to this location. This store needs people that know what they are doing and that have customer service skills. Or else an owner that cares about their business.

It was fast. Food was very good. Service was friendly. Order came out wrong. The person I gave the order to was the one that put it together and the funny part is they just knew they had it right I showed them the receipt and the box they saw it didn’t match and promptly fixed the matter all in all very good experience.

Terrible service! Don’t waste your money on the chocolate chip biscuits, we could not even swallow. They were so dry and hard as hockey pucks. Took us 29 minutes to get some cold soggy damp chicken! We had soup for beans. Worste Popeyes experience!!

Went to lunch here with some coworkers.
Took 40 minutes out of my hour lunch.
The food overall tasted alright for me, but one of my coworkers mentioned her chicken being a little raw.
All customers there at the time were all unhappy bc of how long the wait time was.

I’m glad the manager lady was right there, seems like so many young people with jobs are looking for a way not to sell you The service or products that their employer provides.
I ordered 16 pieces dark meat, the girl who overheard me ordering came over to tell me they can’t do 16 pieces all dark.. I said okay then sell me 12, I’ve been to Popeyes in 20 States and never had a problem. The manager overheard all of it and walked over there and of course we can sell 16 pieces dark, You just have to wait for us to fry them.
That’s standard, and I don’t mind waiting a little while for my favorite bird, thanks manager, that’s why you the boss

Management that was there on 07/14/24 was rude as could be to me over misunderstanding me through the drive through speaker. I just wanted to get my food and drink with no attitude, that lady was on one. The next day 07/15/25, my husband goes to this location and same management was there. He said she was very rude when he asked simple questions as to what is in the sauce? The lady couldn’t be bothered and walked around saying she don’t know, barely giving him a moment to even get his order out. That’s how Popeyes does management??

Waited for almost 25 minutes to get our order. Several people had ordered after us and already received their food. When they brought out the chicken sandwich it was missing the cheese and bacon. They brought them out separately about 3 minutes later. Because of the long wait they did completely remake our order so we are and then have an entire meal to take home.

On 01/11/2024 at approximately 4:30 went in to place an order, just to not be greeted at all. When this Popeyes first opened it was great service and food, it is now going downhill starting from the current manager falling on the staff that works in this environment. Will never go to this location again !
Half of the staff had no gloves on, maybe short in supplies.
Manager needs to work on building morale to possibly make this area great again.
