Every other time we have been to this location of Firehouse Subs, tha women working the counter and Team have been awesome. She is very mindful and attentive of the customers orders. The gentlemen and the Team working on 12 May 2025 at 5:00 should not be allowed to make customer sandwiches. My cajun chicken sandwich has about 4 pieces of chicken on a medium, and has more onions then anything else. Next time, we will not be tippy anything, and we won’t until the food, and subsequent service improves. If it doesn’t, just another restaurant in Springfield we won’t be going to. We don’t work to support local business, just to be rip me off. It’s just not good business.

When we visited they were already backed up with people waiting for orders, even though we were next in line. Maybe they were just having an off shift or something. The food was good, service was friendly but slow, and our only real complaint was the price. When they told me that the small was 4 in and some of those went for 8 ~10 dollars for what could only be 2 or 3 bites we knew this would be our last visit. It’s simply too expensive.

Good lord, help this store! Only customer in there, ordered a chicken bacon ranch sub, no onion ( there is also no onion listed on my order). The girl making my sub, with her stringy hair hanging over my food, puts onion on my sub because she was too busy talking to her boyfriend who walked in. I cannot eat onions!
I also ordered a unsweetened tea, you guessed it! I got a sweet tea, after the guy taking my order even repeated this to the person getting my drink! Gave my name for my order, they spelled it pagy. There is not 2 brain cells to rub together between the 3 of them! Never going to that store again, sorry! Too many mistakes with one customer in the store.

Had to order online can’t call in. Got home realized they forgot a sub in our order. Couldn’t call to tell them the mistake. Went all the way back across town to get the missing sub and the employees response was “you’ll have to get a refund online for it.” Would not make the missing sub unless we paid for another one! Left without food because i already paid for it once!! Terrible customer service. This was our second time ordering from here and our order was missing an item both times. First one was 3 months ago so thought we’d give them another try but not again.

This place was great when it first opened, we were ordering there a couple times a week, but recently it’s gone downhill. It seems like every time we go there is something incorrect or missing, we ordered a firehouse hero with peppers and pickles added, and it came with only those things on it and none of the normal ingredients. The food is still great when it’s correct but if you make modifications to anything, more often than not it’ll be made wrong. Also the mobile app sucks but that’s no reflection on this specific restaurant. Hope to see this store get turned around because we love firehouse subs!
