Ok where to start. So my fiance and I arrived around 7:50ish pm and went to the drive thru. Had to wait about ten minutes to order. If you look at the order you can tell it was a rather simple order. Did not pay for the food until 8:20 pm (proof is in the photo of the receipt) when we got to the window.
While at the window I could see employees just standing around not doing anything but talking and joking around. You know, not working but just having a good time. I was asked to pull off to the side while they prepared my order so I did.
20 minutes or so later my fiance and I decided it was enough and pulled around to get a refund. Inside, we asked for a refund and the cashier apologized and stated that the order was almost done. The manager came over after hearing that we wanted a refund and told us it was only going to be a bit longer and it was almost done.
We refused and still requested a refund. Once again the manager asked us to wait the chicken would be fresh. We asked if the rest of the order would be and that is when the manager finally gave up and refunded us our money for the order. We finally left at 8:47 pm after we got our refund and went to Taco Casa were we got our ordered, payed, and got our food in less then four minutes.
The manager smelled like that have been smoking a lot of weed and looked stoned out of their mind. The employees that were supposed to be working were still just playing around in the back and not doing their jobs. Play music, talking, dancing around, and standing around. The employees also had no glove on or took any other sanitary measures as well.
On the other hand, the cashier that took our order, payment, and that we originally talked to for a refund was very professional and on top of things. I do not have issue with him at all and he was never the problem.
The pictures attached show the time of payment on the receipt and the time on the my trucks clock. This is sad because I Popeyes was awesome place at Fort Hood when I was stationed there.

98% of the time the order is wrong. I’ve tried different ways of ordering. I’ve provided feedback. I’ve talked to on-site managers.
I’ve only been to the drive thru.
I love the kids, but no one is training them to review the ACTUAL order to the order.
Even tonight, I was very explicit, i.e., mashed potatoes “and gravy”. (Where’s the gravy…???)
They are good to repeat the order, at the speaker and at the window, but the breakdown is apparently with whom ever is preparing the order.
If it were up to me, I would not ever go back.

I don’t see this location being open too much longer unless they get new staff! This is 3rd time trying them hoping I get better results but this was my last time. The chicken sandwich taste nothing like a Popeyes chicken sandwich half the breading was missing and the Mac n cheese was over cooked with a burnt taste & the food was cold. I don’t recommend this location at all!

We ordered on line to Popeyes in Belton sine we live in Temple. When arriving we were told they were closed and to call the number on the app for refund. This was 7:30 pm. There was no number listed…now for Hewitt. Called to see if they had a number for corporate. Robin answered and offered to make the order for us. I explained we were 35 miles away but didn’t want to lose our $22.. so we drove to Hewitt. Robin waited for us to cook the chicken so it would be hot. Long story short. Robin and employee Hunter were great!! We’ll go to Hewitt when we want some Popeyes from now on

I ordered the family meal with the crack pies omg the strawberry cream pies are to die for!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to after receiving such good service at the 11th street store. I wanted a Strawberry Cream pie and knew I wouldn’t make it to Hewitt in time, so I visited the 11th st and I received amazing service.
Since I wrote the review for 11th St. tonight, I want to give my review for my past few visits in Hewitt.
The restaurant is always clean, the people are always smiling and friendly, and the food is always fresh!

We ordered dine in, but I waited up front for our food. Listening to the kitchen work, they were fantastic. There was a great rhythm working through the drive thru since a line formed. They all had a role and were helping one another out. I’ve had different experiences there, but they were on it tonight. Our dinner was hot and tasty and the biscuit was fluffy! I don’t think I’ve ever had a fluffy biscuit at a Popeye’s in decades. Well done to the Wednesday night crew!

This location of popeyes and the manager Noah, was so helpful to me today. The error in my order was all my fault.But they fixed everything and took extra time that they did not have to take. I have been here many times and their service has been certainly acceptable, but today they really went above and beyond. Noah was amazing, and his team seemed to be firing on all cylinders.

I normally don’t set my hopes too high for this location because the wait time is horrible and usually the order is wrong. Today I was amazed that the order was right and it didn’t take forever. Kenzie (Kenzye??), the young lady that handled my order was absolutely on point and her customer service skills were fantastic. I hope she stays on there.
