As I sit in the drive thru for 30 minutes with my order that was that I brought back due to it being completely burnt and cold. I attempted to use the lobby, but no one would even make eye contact with any guests waiting to be served. I absolutely love Popeyes and every time I want to give this location another chance they fail to deliver. There isn’t any quality control or management interaction. Poor food quality and no one cares -very sad.

I gave 5⭐ for the food because it is simply the best in the business!The chicken is quality meat and fried to perfection, regardless of whether you prefer spicy or original! The biscuits are to die for! …and they will just give you packs of honey or whatever sauce you ask for.
I gave 5⭐ for service because they always get your order right and they are always friendly. If you want speedy chicken, go somewhere that is speedy…but if you just want the best fried chicken in the whole world at a reasonable price…get in line at Popeye’s!

Popeyes to the rescue for Thanksgiving. So glad they were open and I thanked the staff. Food was hot and arrived much faster than at other locations. I knocked it down one star because they were out of tea.

I ordered online and picked my food up in the drive thru. I had to have sat there in line for a good 10 minutes or better and only one person had been finishing their order when I had pulled up. There were 4 cars in front of that car and there seemed to be so.e hold up with the first car. I was beginning to think id be there for another q0 or 15 minutes when the line moved a bit. The person at the window started to give me my bag then someone wanted to recheck it, okayed it then I drove thru. The chicken was warm not hot and didn’t have the usual good fresh taste to it that I had always without fail gotten at any location I have been to before. As it got cooler than the warmness it started at it started having a rather rotten smell and taste to it and I had to quit eating at that point. I looked for the other food I had ordered and found that the jalapeño poppers I thought I was ordering when the app suggested them when I had finished my order were not in the sack. I was still at the restaurant so I called the store snd talked to someone who informed me that the jalapeño’s were just raw peppers that the app didnt necessarily state that they were poppers. She apologized and told me that I could drive thru and pick them up and I told her that if they were not poppers but raw jalapeño pepper that I did not want them. She said okay and hung up. I thought she might suggest giving me my money back for them and I would have asked but I didnt bother calling back because I thought it was better for me to let it go for her sake at that point. I went home and had to take a shower and brush my teeth just to get the smel and tastel out of my clothes, my nose and mouth before I could get on with my evening and hope that I hadn’t just gotten food poisoning. I wont be eating there again and am leary of going to any Popeyes now.

Extremely slow service. The drive-thru line was backed up, and employees were in the back vaping while customers waited (management should check the cameras). When I finally got to the window, I was told it would be a 4-minute wait — it ended up being closer to 15 more minutes. The car behind me actually got their food and left about 10 minutes before I did. The food was fine, but the wait and lack of urgency made this a frustrating experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was there at approximately 7pm on a Wednesday night. I went thru the drive thru since there were only a few cars and only a few people inside. It took over 40 mins from the time I ordered until I got my food. I paid at the window and waited there for about 10 minutes before being told to move to the 2nd window. I waited at the 2nd window for 20 minutes. Since it was taking so long I decided to park and go inside. When I got to the inside counter there was nobody behind the counter and several people waiting for their food. After a few minutes I intercepted someone taking my order outside. I checked my order and it was wrong. I was missing a chicken breast from my order. I spent another five minutes at the counter to talk to someone to fix it.
On top of all that the food was average at best. The rice in the red beans and rice was undercooked and the rest of the food was average.
I have been to this place a few times and it has never been a great experience. It has always been slow, inattentive staff, and less than average food. I kept hoping it will get better since I love Popeye’s chicken. I will not be going back. It is not worth the hassle, time or the money.

It took them quite a while for my large order but at least it was fresh and accurate. That’s all you can hope for at any drive thru in Norman. They are solid in the aspect that they give you what you paid for without attitude. Good job

I love Popeyes, but they need a new staff. The first time I’ve went. I ordered my chicken with mac & cheese and they make me wait so long for just the mac & cheese. I had to get out of my car and go in and at the end of the day I never even got it Mac & Cheese. Today, I order it again ahead of time so I will have it and I get an awful looking food. I love the chicken, but the stuff seems like they have no idea what to do and I’m very disappointed every time.

We drove 20 mile to eat dinner here to be sadly disappointed. The spicy chicken we bought on the $5.00 deal and the blackened tenders were not what you normally get at Popeyes Louisian Kitchens. The spicy chicken was spicy but had no flavor other wise, just blah. The blackened tenders had no blackening to them, again no spices, no flavor. The biscuit weren’t any better. The whole meal was just a disappointment. We like Popeyes will be back to try it again. The service at this location was really good, quick and friendly which is always a plus.

The place was clean the service was ok however the food was old.i live maybe 3 ir 4 min from the place so my food should have been still very hot. My son tossed the fries, thats how old and nasty they were. I aye maybe half of my chicken strips b4 I could not anymore. And my mashed potatoes had the smallest amount of gravy lol . Even the spicy chicken sandwich was cold.
