I went Popeyes to get lunch for my family. But was turned off immediately upon entering restaurant. I open the door, large bag of garbage, the walk way was nasty the waste containers sitting out and oozing liquid, spray bottles and rags lying on the counter tops in the lobby and near the registers. 1:30 pm during customer prime time service. No one was available to even serve me. I walked out. I have pictures I posted. I should have took more to report to the Health Department. I am sure this would be a violation.
This was the 2012 Congo Rd, Benton, Ar. Location on Wednesday Sept. 3, 2025 at 1:30 pm.

Went through the drive thru at this location, was not given receipt after card was ran. I was directed to pull forward for 2 minutes to get fries cooked. 15 minutes later, no food and I had to go inside. They had no idea what food was supposed to be going out and evidently lost the order. This was at 2:45pm, not rush hour. Definitely not wasting any further money or time on this location.

Xavier was the young man that took my order and his a big benefit to Popeyes, he made you feel welcome at the door and brought out my food. He should get a raise because he over and beyond.

The food is good, but the service is so slow. It’s almost not worth going. It would probably be faster to drive to the one in Little Rock and then drive all the way back to Benton

Made a online order. Told to pull over and waited over 10 minutes in my vehicle. Then a young lady tossed a bag of food in my window and walked back in. I ordered wraps and a sandwich for my family , she tossed a sandwich in my window. I parked went inside and waited 15 minutes at the register for someone to come to me….. luckily a young lady walked in asking for her correct meal and I had it. So I did their job at Popeyes and gave it to her then stood at the register for another 10 minutes until someone yelled asking what was wrong with my order. I showed my online receipt and was given a bag. Got into my car and I was missing two items from my order. As I walked back inside two more people already got in line to have their order fixed. Yes I paid 30 plus dollars for me and my family after a long day at work but after standing/waiting for almost an hour I did not take the food and walked out. Manager there avoided all customers, female at drive through had hat and shirt hanging off her body, no acknowledgement for customers with wrong orders , and the reason I left the food I had is because the food I had while waiting was cold ! Horrible experience I will not be back to this location at all and will order from another location for me and my family on our nights to have take out.

I had to wait a little bit before I could order once I ordered it didn’t take long for me to get my food, but then I checked it and it wasn’t anywhere close to what I had ordered so don’t know about what I had ordered and I still didn’t get the right thing. Every time I come here my food gets messed up somehow I don’t know if I will be back.

The cashier working drive thru was so courteous . The chicken and potatoes were hot and fresh. There was a small wait time, due to the Apple pie not being ready. Overall, great experience.

I went to Popeyes to get a chicken strip dinner for two with two biscuits and two sides. I ordered a mashed potatoes and coleslaw for my side. He gave me two mashed potatoes and one coleslaw no problem. We change them out then I found I only had one biscuit so I had to turn back around and go get the other biscuits since it was a meal for two. Then I get home open the coleslaw to find it had a yellow tint and I wondered why.. I tasted it only to find that it had mustard in it. Which might be fine for someone who loves mustard, but I have never had coleslaw with mustard in it. I did not want coleslaw with mustard in it yet it had mustard in it. The chicken strips are very small with a whole lotta breading on it so they are very dry. I think they’ve been in there since this morning which is the manager told me that the coleslaw had been made that morning and it’s almost 7 o’clock at night. I will not go back to Popeyes. I’ve been many times. I never had a problem, but this was very bad.

I can’t imagine a more unorganized mess of a business. Took 45 minutes to get a small order. Got about half the food we ordered. When I went back to get answers I saw 4 employees chitchatting and one confused employee up front getting every order wrong. The manager got involved and had the rest of my food in my hand in 2 minutes. Maybe if the “staff” actually helped fill orders on the front end you could provide something close to a below average experience? The one customer that was served while I was there came right back in because his order was wrong. Another guy walked in and asked for a refund because he’d been waiting 40 minutes in the drive thru. To the owner: This is all your fault. You get what you require and apparently all you require is attendance. Spend less time typing out lame apologies to disappointed customers and more time working with your staff.

This review goes to the corporation rather than the individual store. Pricing is pathetic 11.88 for a 3 piece chicken tender meal. And the tenders are mostly batter. This is price gouging and it needs to stop.
