Fast & friendly service, fresh & delicious food! This was my first time trying Popeyes and WOW I’ve been missing out. I got the sweet & spicy wings, the sauce is like an Asian chilli sauce and very good. The wings were juicy, tender, and piping hot/fresh. They had a great breading, very crunchy and flavorful on their own! Fries were delicious, mashed potatoes with cajun gravy was delicious, and the coleslaw was not like anything I’ve had before. It had a very unique flavor and was very good.

The food was cold and when I went to tell them the cashier threatened to call the cops when I was explaining it was cold. She said that it’s my fault then she began yelling. She then angrily remade my food then i watched her spit in my food. I then said I had gone to call the cops if she hadn’t stopped. This resulted in her spitting on me and call her manager.

RIDICULOUS!!! I only put one star, because there’s no zero stars to give!
Where to start? Last night, we went and ordered 3 dinners, 2 with white meat and one with dark meat, with the sides being mashed potatoes with gravy for both, coleslaw for one and rice dressing for the other one, and I also had macaroni & cheese for mine.
We get home, thinking nothing of it, because we assumed that if it was rung up exactly as how we wanted it, then we would get what we paid for. Did we get what we had paid for? NO!!!! Of course not!
Instead of the 2 white meat dinners, we got dark meat for both, and I had 2 pieces plus a wing for mine, as well as the mac & cheese I wanted. Speaking of the sides, there was only coleslaw for one, and only mashed potatoes for another (but with no gravy). We also ordered large sizes, too. But, instead we got smaller sizes with barely anything inside the containers!
I wish I would have taken pictures of this, so you all can see just how bad they’ve gotten! Not to mention the “chicken,” and yes, I say “chicken” because I don’t believe that they have chicken any more; it’s not as meaty as it was, it’s done shrunk close to nothing but just breading, and that’s an understatement.
We tried to call the number to complain about 5 times. 5 times. And no one wanted to answer the phone.
As much as it’s close to our house, this Popeyes has permanently lost this paying customer, even if we don’t frequent it often. I’m not sure if Morgan City or any other Popeyes out of town (keep in mind that this is Bayou Vista, people) are like that now, but the decision to get Popeyes from Morgan City or out of town is still up for debate.
From now on, we will drive 5-6 minutes down the road to Danny’s in Morgan City, they have WAAAAAAAAAY better chicken, and always gets your order right, regardless of what you want.
I was originally going to say “do better,” but after what we experienced last night, that won’t happen any time soon. Is there a manager at this place, or does the supervisor come often, because it sure doesn’t seem like it at all!

Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. Although it tastes good, the sandwich, the paper wrapper, the foil wrapper, and the bag was messy with spicy sauce all over. The sandwich was also very messy with sauce coming out everywhere & the bun torn in places. The fries are room temp. The staff is pleasant. The restroom is clean. The soda was the best part of my experience.

2 piece dark spicy. It usually has a thigh and leg. I got 2 very small legs. I thought I mistakenly ordered wings. The taste was very good nonetheless. The chicken has gotten smaller, and the price has gotten bigger. Service was good.

We made a mobile order with a pickup time. They did not start preparing or food until after we arrived. They did not have all our items in stocks. The were not friendly and helpful to get our refund. Had to get refund through the app. Only gave one star because you have to in order to leave a review.
