The newest second Other Brother location is smaller than the one in Seaside but still carries all the classics. And they serve food. The ambiance and aesthetic is also similar. One all gender bathroom for everyone. They card rigorously so don’t forget your ID.

I heard the news of this place opening down the street from where I live and I was so happy with our first experience.
We made it just in time to grab a beer before closing time and snagged a peek at the me j and everything sounds so good!
The brewers were friendly, knowledgeable and let us try several tastings of their selection because we had never tried their beers before.
I’m not partial to sour beers but their award winning sour proved me wrong, and it was delish!
It was clean, well decorated and the merch is fun; from hoodies, to beanies to hats.
There is also NA drinks in the fridge as well.
We will definitely be back to try more beers and their food.
Hoping they do because it is a great addition to the Aptos area.

Absolutely fantastic spot! The beer is consistently top-notch, the atmosphere is welcoming, and you can tell the owners genuinely care about every detail—from the quality of the brews to the cleanliness of the space and the friendliness of the staff.
One thing I especially respect is how seriously they take doing things the right way. Yes, they check IDs—because that’s literally the law. If anything, the fact that they card everyone just shows how attentive and professional they are. When a business is committed to following regulations and treating every customer the same, it says a lot about their integrity and the standards they hold themselves to across the board.

Other Brother is a staple for us whenever we’re in Central California! The wine and beer selection never disappoints, and the food is consistently delicious. This place is wild. I was there the other day and they were carding people who were obviously over 70 years old and not serving them alcohol unless they showed an ID, and then there was some pushback on it, and the owner showed up and took away the beers of other customers who were well over 70 years old because they questioned the process. That is just way too much drama for me to handle and I’m not trying to get a beer taken away from me that I paid for.
