The first time coming to this Popeyes I ordered and paid through the mobile app at 10:30pm the Popeyes website says that this location closed at 12. I get there and they refuse to serve me via the drive through and argue with me that they close sooner then they are actually supposed too and without assisting me tell me to get a refund not telling me how or where too do this. THE SECOND time I visit this location I order my food wait almost 30 minutes in my car as they tell me too pull ahead and finally I go inside my food was sitting out and bagged on the counter after I speak up they hand it too me and it’s missing several items I tell them what’s missing they bring me one of the missing items and I again have too tell them what’s missing . This is without doubt some of they worst service from any fast food/ restaurant chain I have ever visited and is beyond ridiculous that as someone who decides too spend there money with this franchise has too deal with more then once further proving that it wasn’t just a bad day but a deliberate poor choice of service and a clear reflection of character for those that work in this location. Absolutely pathetic

I went to the Elmwood location today. I had one person ahead of me that was ordering. They got their food rather quickly. Employees were only taking care of the Uber Eats orders. I waited an additional 25 minutes for my order to be taken with me standing at the register as the Uber Eats orders were filled. I asked the employee if they could take my order (so that I could get in the rotation) because I had been waiting so long and she said to me can’t you see we are busy. I grabbed my keys and she said people coming in here with attitudes. Very upsetting!

every time i get popeyes the employees are always lowkey rude, never smile, and when i say thank you and am nice they NEVER reciprocate!! i ordered a wing combo with ranch and red beans, they forgot the ranch and gave me cajun rice. i even placed a mobile order 20 mins before i arrived to give them time!! every popeyes on the east bank is like this for some reason! do better

This specific location I would not suggest anyone visit. Due to lack of urgency, and overall bad service. I visited this location a few times for my lunch break, which is for an hour. I am not pleased with Popeyes wasting my time. Order would never get fulfilled, the line would never move , And it seems no one care. Not sure why this location even exist.

Every year I place a large order in advance (at the Veterans and Clearview location) to be picked up on Christmas Eve. This year I decided to go to the Elmwood location since I moved. I went a few days early to place the order and pay for it. I requested it be ready at 5:00 on Christmas Eve. The employee looked confused as if ordering ahead was a new concept. I informed her that the website states “order ahead” is an available option. I asked if they could do it and she said “yes” and that she’d “tape the receipt on the wall for the staff to see it on Wednesday.” When I arrived a little before 5:00 Wednesday, the door was locked. I could see they were still inside and knocked. They told me they were closing. I showed them the paid receipt thru the glass door and insisted they open and make my order as they promised days earlier. Only then did they let me in and go make the order; however, with much complaining and grumbling. Question: Why did they tell me I could pick it up at 5:00 if they were closing at 5:00 on Christmas Eve? Will never go to this location again.

If i could give this location a 0 star I would but cant to write a review anyways got a bacon, Swiss regular chicken sandwhich from this popeyes with a regular fry and a sweet tea and supposed to get a Mac and cheese as well for myself. Well they didnt have Mac and cheese apparently when its only 6pm and my husband’s chicken sandwich had a crap ton of mayo no bacon or no pickles when both were supposed to be on it.

This Popeyes has no courtesy and respect for neighbors or community. They started doing construction at 5am which is totally illegal! I was staying at the Marriott hotel beside this Popeyes and was woken up by loud construction noise at 5 am and it’s 9am and still can’t sleep because of this noise. If this Popeyes have no respect and can’t even comply to 5 am noise law, I doubt their ingredients will be fresh. By their ethics and morals having no courtesy or respect for other people, they probably reuse oil 100 times. I see bad reviews. 3.3 is very low for Popeyes.

Went there yesterday night to order food for my family of six. Had a long line so decided to go in the line inside was no one but no one was helping anyone. Waited there for about 10 minutes then decided maybe it’s better just to go in the car. Get back in the car. Wait another 15 minutes not one car moves. Say forget this let’s go to canes . Walk in every employee at canes say How can I help you? are you doing? Can I help you! Service is done in two minutes. Popeyes needs to wonder why every single location is slow and sucks. How is it that Canes, another chicken location does such a great job with customer service And quality of products. It’s the quality of people you hire. Let’s be honest with ourselves. Love Popeyes Hate going to any location because it’s the same crappy service every location. Slow in effective the quality of the food is up and down because you never know what mood somebody’s in at work that day. Popeyes, you need to get it together and you might wanna take a playbook at a canes. Why don’t you go to canes the owner of Popeyes see how their employees act maybe you can make some changes. Instead of people having to get on here and write a paragraph and a half about how much your locations suck!
