If I could give a zero star to the experience I had today, I definitely would. Not only the staffs messed up my order (gave me 5 pieces while I paid for 9), the person I talked to on the phone and in the store when I came back to pick up the rest of my order was nasty rude. Not a single apology either on the phone or in the store. The girl showed toxic attitude and called me rude when I simply said I don’t understand how they messed up my order which caused a lot of inconvenience as I already got home and had to go back to the store ( as I was also exhausted and hadn’t eaten all day). She blatantly said “it happens” and told me that I was showing attitude. When I requested to speak to the manager, she shamelessly said that she is one of the managers and demanded me to leave her store. I’m sure a manager would afford to have a name tag which she didn’t even have one. Overall, I believe that the issue with rude employees at this store is a common theme and doesn’t get fixed although they said will work on it based on previous feedbacks from other customers. I will never come back to this location. I refuse to pay for my food and get unprofessional, rude and toxic service like what happened today.

Went in, there were six employees, and they were decently busy. I went to the counter to order, stood there for five minutes and not a single employee acknowledged me. Not, we will be right with you, not hello, not a single word. Love the food, the level of accountability their employees is trash.

Went through the drive-thru tonight for 12 chicken tenders, a side of mashed potatoes, and a side of mac and cheese. They told me to park in back cause they needed to cook fresh chicken. After 15 minutes, they came out and handed another car their food that parked after me. The girl asked me what my order was and went back inside. After another 15 minutes a guy finally brought me my food. At least he apologized. 30 minutes for 12 chicken stripe and a couple of sides is ridiculous. Not the first time this happened to me, but definitely the last time. I will never go to this location again.

Sat in the drive-thru for 45+ minutes while the employee took and dealt with one order at a time. Could have gone to a packed restaurant, ordered food, ate the food, payed and went home before getting my order taken at a FAST food restaurant. They have this poor elder lady taking every order running the drive thru while damn near 10+ employees watch her struggle. Oh and to top everything off they have the chicken sitting on the expo machine which is incredibly unsanitary and I will be calling the health department. After waiting almost an hour to get my food it was completely wrong. This place should be shut down.
UPDATE: Chicken is completely over cooked and not edible. Wouldn’t even give this to a starving animal in fear it would kill it.

Anytime I have come to this location, whether for work on personal time, 9/10 times I get an extremely rude employee. They sound like they could care less about working there, like they hate their job and it’s somehow the customer’s fault, to making it sound like being a customer at the location is a huge annoyance and theyre trying to get you in and out (whether inside or outside) as quickly as possible so they can go about their business between themselves. I, myself, REFUSE to come here because of how terrible the employees treat myself as well as the people I support, who have developmental disabilities. On 12/26/25, I had one of those I support who wanted to have Popeyes. 3 of us walked inside, I kindly got someone’s attention after standing at the front with no service for a few minutes. The manager comes walking up from the back and says very crude manner saying “We’re not open for another 15 minutes.” Then when they finally opened, her attitude changed and she was suddenly nice. But when your Google pops up that you open at 10:30, that’s usually what people go by. So, coming up to the building and the door is unlocked, we’re expecting to be served; not be told “we’re closed for another 15 minutes.” From start to finish: from the time we walked in through the door until the time we left, we waited 45 minutes for my person to get food. Not too mention the other person I am supporting today having to wait with us.
Side note: the lemonade machine’s filter on the counter needs cleaned terribly. There is so much dust and grime on it that I’m not sure how it’s not overheating!

Some people mentioned a rude employee, I wondered if it was the same lady that asked the customer about their order when the name of the order was already given. Got frustrated when she couldn’t hear what the customer said. She needs to come to the drive thru window when talking to the customer so she can hear the customer and not talk across the kitchen where she was scooping potatoes into containers. Received dried chicken this time, so I don’t know if it’s over cooked or old chicken. This place usually doesn’t give dried chicken. So with better customer service and better chicken this place does have potential but no customer service will keep people away.

I go to this popeyes because it’s the only one on the south side of town. I love popeyes, but everytime I go here my order is incorrect, both missing and extra items. Tonight (1/16) I went through the drive thru, spent 20 minutes waiting, got 4 out of 5 drinks, missing a side of red beans and rice, and order 5 biscuits and received 12 biscuits. Two or three weeks prior I went inside to order, trying to make sure my order wasn’t wrong, and spent 47 minutes waiting on my food. Yet again I was missing sides and received an apple pie and large side of coleslaw, neither were order. Something needs to drastically change before I go back to this location.

We visited this location yesterday Sept 25th. We saw a huge line in the drive through so decided
to dine in. The line was eight people deep. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely polite and fast at his job. He apologized to each customer for their wait. He also went above and beyond for a senior lady that was having difficulty ordering. As soon as he had a break he noticed she had not taken her drink cup. He went to her table to explain her drink was included and what could he get for her. I notice the one stars are about the wait. Sometimes that is the price you pay for excellence.
