Huntley Popeye’s was a great location to get our chicken. Not sure why others graded it low but they do have a new manager now and things were great when we went. We were greeted as soon as we got in the door by the staff. We weren’t sure what we wanted to order and the Manager Dan made it easy for us by asking and suggesting certain packages and add ons. We ended up getting the spicy 8 piece mixed chicken box. The chicken was fresh, hot and delicious. They have a new hot sauce called Buffalo Bayou that is really good with this chicken. They still have the traditional hot sauce too. It was nice seeing everyone working as a team helping one another at their stations too! All employees were enthusiastic and provided excellent friendly service. Everything was packaged nicely and put together fast!

The food service workers do not greet guests properly, they just say to give them a moment and then you sit there waiting for 5 to 8 minutes just to be told that they are out of food. The Popeyes chicken in Huntley, IL state rd 47 is complete garbage predominantly because of their workers. They need to be shut down. This is my 5th time going there with the month of August 2023 and it has always been a HORRIBLE experience and I won’t spend another dime there and have told others to do the same.

I usually love Popeyes chicken!!! My sister and I ordered an 8 piece bucket just breasts and thighs. I didn’t care for it this time. We should have just ordered the sandwiches like we normally do…I think they’d be fresher.

Came to this location despite the reviews and I’m glad I did. I don’t know why they’re so low on stars but this place is great!!! I got greeted as soon as I came in and the food was hot and fresh the staff was also awesome and friendly! They went out of their way to make sure I got everything I needed and that it was fresh…. I will definitely be coming back to this Popeyes it might take a few minutes for the food to come out but it’s because they like to make everything fresh and it is worth every minute

I decided to go to this one on my way home instead of the one in Rockford where I was working. Made a big mistake. They advertised that they were open until 10pm and even let me order on the app. I showed up at 8:10 for my pickup time and lo-and-behold the door was locked. Saw someone go to the drive through and figured they were only doing drive through. When I pulled up I waited a little bit and someone said they were closed. That was a shame. Waste of time

Y’all need to know. Danny is the BEST! I have never been and was ordering in person for my mother via phone. He helped me navigate the menu and was very patient with me being a bit extra! If you have more Danny’s you will continue to be a great success!
