My son and I stopped in to grab bite for dinner which was a meal for two used a coupon, and the chicken strips were very hard and not good, the rice and beans were old and caused me to feel ill a few hrs later. The chicken strips, were very dry, and hard we actually regretted grabbing a bite there.

So, the food would have received 3 stars, maybe even 4, but over all, I don’t understand how this place stays in business, and an over all 1-2 stars is all I can give it. When it first opened, I tried it. I had the same problems I’m about to explain. About a year ago, I had some friends that wanted to try it, so I went again, and again, same problems I’m about to explain.
Got a gift card from someone, so rather than waste it, I tried it yet another time. First off, getting help at the counter is a challenge that takes forever every time. And, when eating there, I see the same thing happen to those who come in after me. I bet I stood at the counter for 5 minutes or better while 1/2 dozen employees would make eye contact with me, but not say a word. Not to come help, not that someone will be right with me, nothing. Just ignored. Finally someone from way in the back walks up slowly, without a concern in the world, and asks if she can help me, with no apology for my wait or anything. Everyone working there was acting like immature juveniles. Hollering loudly, goofing off, etc. Once my order was rung up, I went to pay, and they couldn’t get my gift card to work. Got some sort of supervisor up, and he couldn’t solve it either. I told them no problem, I could pay this time, but wanted info to contact a manager of some sort to correct the gift card problem. I honestly didn’t want to pay, because now I’d have to come back again for the gift card, but I believe it was an honest issue on why it wasn’t working. Anyhow, he tells me there’s no one I can contact. I said, listen… even if it’s the owner. Clearly someone is above the current staff in here that can help. He mentioned perhaps the district manager? I don’t remember for sure, but when I asked how to get a hold of, he said he had no idea. What?!? So I said, do I just call and speak with day staff? He said you can’t, because our phone hasn’t been working here for a long time. Ok… I figure I’ll call some corporate deal when I have time and go that route. So, received my food, and had troubles finding a place to sit that wasn’t disgusting and I cleaned. Stuff all over the tables, seats, floors, etc. Yet, they had plenty of time to goof off, and rotate out back to have smoke breaks. You know this, because they are discussing it. Place was filthy. This has got to be one of the worst places to go. If you review my other reviews, I am fairly generous with most, because I try to be realistic and honest. Very few have a review like this. This place needs to shape up, or they will probably disappear. It’s a joke going here and has been for every experience I’ve had.

Disappointing Experience with Long Wait Times and Poor Service
Yesterday we visited Popeyes and it was quite underwhelming. Despite arriving around 5 PM when the place was notably slow, the 6 of us had to wait a frustrating 20 minutes for our food. To add to the disappointment, 3 of our orders were incorrect.
The cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms left much to be desired. Moreover, multiple soda options from the pop machine were not functioning properly. The staff seemed indifferent, almost as if our presence was an inconvenience to them.
On a positive note, the food quality was decent. The wings, chicken nuggets, and chicken tenders were particularly tasty. My wife’s chicken sandwich was also enjoyable, though my daughter ended up with a piece of meat that wasn’t up to par.
Overall, the good food was overshadowed by the subpar service and lack of cleanliness. We are not likely to go back to this restaurant, especially with a much better chicken restaurant that’s not open on Sundays.

I felt generous and gave them 2 stars. Every time I’ve been here the employees seem absolutely miserable and they make that pretty clear. I wouldn’t want to work there either though. Maybe if the pay was higher they would have better attitudes?

We ordered not spicy chicken, was given an allspice chicken. We got asked if they could give us 1 spicy to replace what they didn’t have… fine. But not all should have been spicy!!!! Coleslaw has weird taste. Told staff they needed to change the c02 or dr.pepper and they didn’t change either. Not the best place and highly not reccomendable.

Ran out of what I ordered and only told me AFTER I payed. They then refused to refund that item because they “weren’t authorized, and my GM isn’t on property”.

Food is ok if you actually get what you ordered. I get that you need to constantly remind them to add hot sauce. I don’t understand how they can forget to include a biscuit, give you the wrong ranch dressing and only put 4 fries in the bag. My daughter just got back with her to-go meal and its a joke. I have been a customer since I lived in Orlando FL at age 19. I’m now 55 and I can say the service at the Hamilton Blvd location is terrible. Guess its time to visit the Colonel.

Its’s better to come during the day. I have never been disappointed when I came during the day. After 5pm it is a hit or miss. Sometimes its terrible. (Soggy cold fries and breading) Other times it was amazing. The service is great. Drive-thru is pretty quick. Never had a bad experience, and the employees were professional and friendly.
