This was an appalling experience. I placed an online order for Blackened Tenders at 4:07 PM. I arrived at 4:15 PM and was forced to wait 45 minutes for a pre-paid order.
Service Failures:
• I am disabled and was promised curbside delivery to my handicap spot, but I was completely ignored for 20 minutes and forced to walk inside.
• The store was empty, but six employees were huddled together, socializing and ignoring the counter. I had to yell to get service.
• They couldn’t find my order and the manager’s promise to make fresh tenders in “three minutes” was a lie.
Quality & Disrespect:
• After the excessive wait, I received chicken that was NOT blackened (see photo—barely seasoned, over-breaded junk) and was clearly rushed.
• Their “apology” was an insulting $1.59 pie for a 45-minute ordeal and ruined order.
• As I left, staff were talking negatively about me behind my back, demonstrating a profound lack of professionalism.
This location (Livonia/Middlebelt) is managed by incompetent and disrespectful staff. Avoid this store. Popeyes corporate needs to investigate the culture and lack of quality control here immediately.

Been here 3 times and each time was a disappointment. Last visit was finally the one I decided to give a final review on. I ordered a 3 piece tender and only 1 was an “ok” size the 2nd piece small and the 3rd piece was just a straight up insult. Who decides that it’s ok to take a thin sliver of chicken with a ton of batter, deep fry it and say it’s a “tender”. What a joke this place is. With 2.5 stars I’m not surprised with what I got I guess. It could be so much better but really is the lowest quality you can get around the area.

Pull up to window to get my order.
Worker told me to back up behind yellow pole .I thoughts that was weird !
Then I get home and find out they gave me the wrong Tenders .
Reg instead of spices.
I call the restaurant, and the guy who answer phone was rude and kinda aggressive with phone conversation.
I just wanted to address the issue I had with my order.He finally ask me if I ate all the tenders .
I said no ,Then he tell me to bring them back with a aggressive tone in his voice.
Me and the wife just wanted to enjoy are dinner,but was ruin by popeyes service.
Also call the next day Saturday 02/91/2026 11am
Again the lady sounded upset I ask for manager ,and disconnected are phone call.
This is not the first bad encounter with this Liviona Mi Popeyes.
These employees need to respect the customers. Not get a attitude when confronted with wrong orders. Unless the customer was rude and disrespectful. Which I was respectful and curious to the employees.
I decided not to go back to this location.

The food was really good, the spicy chicken sandwich was delicious, and the biscuits pull apart easily. But oh my the service is so awful. I walked in and 3 people starred at me like NPC’s, some guy came from the back to take my order, and he didn’t even greet me he just starred at me waiting for me to place my order. He didn’t even ask for a name or give me my receipt. The people here need to be fired or re trained because this is such a sad excuse for employees.

Placed my order on mobile website at 9:45am to be ready at 10:15am. I get to drive thru window at 10:15 because speaker is not on. I was told another 7 minutes and asked to park. I waited until 10:42am to walk to drive thru window because their doors were locked and was told another 3 minutes. Never again will I go to any Popeye restaurant. I ordered 5pc spicy with 2 breasts and 3 wings. The breast were not spicy and the wings were spicy but smaller than Amish wings.

This is genuinely the worst fast food establishment I have ever been too, I’ve been here twice. First time I waited in line for 30 minutes for them to tell me they couldn’t accept a card when I got to the window and it was only cash. Tonight I went to the drive thru and the kid working the drive thru was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. There is no way that type of customer service is acceptable. I said I’m good and left and didn’t even order. Avoid.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Never had Popeyes thought I’d try it. Pulled in at 6:07 with 3 cars ahead of me . Finally placed my order of 2 chicken sandwiches at 6:28. Was asked if I could wait a few minutes while they make “fresh sandwiches”. I asked how long is a few minutes 2 or 20. Was told 7 minutes. Paid and pulled up. Went inside and asked for my sandwiches. They hadn’t even bothered to make them yet. A girl made them and I walked out at 6:52.

Absolutely no excuse. I can’t even believe this store is still open. All four of the employees that were in there deserve to be fired.

The sandwiches were chincy, extremely unappealing to look at, small and we’re not tasty. Not even close to the hype I’ve heard.

I will never go to another Popeyes again, it was legitimately that bad. Should have known better when there was not a single customer in the dining room.

I had an extremely unpleasant dining experience. I ordered the chicken tenders and the spicy chicken sandwich, but both were completely inedible. The chicken had a noticeably unpleasant, spoiled odor, and it tasted as though it had been cooked in old, unhealthy oil. This was unacceptable, and I’m very concerned about the quality and safety of the food being served. Never coming to this location and Popeyes franchise.

Why have 6 people working and only 2 are actually working. This was new years day 2026, 4-6pm. The managers are not managing. The front line is a social club with conversation and cell phones. The cook manager (male) was definitely actually working but everyone else…. no sense of urgency and lazy attitude. I guess just paying the lease is good enough for you. Your loosing revenue…. out the window…. yeah just review your camera, you will see what I saw.

If I could give a 0 I would I came to this Popeyes after working a long shift at work and wanted to grab my babies something to eat. Went through drive thru they said only cash at drive thru to come in after working 16 hour shift I didn’t want to get out my car. I park my car and went in as I was ask to do it seems like everyone had bad attitudes. I ask did they have a special on just chicken the young lady with the red dreads just shook her head and said no never open her mouth to me when I ask that question. We only have thighs and breast I said my family doesn’t like breast can I have thighs and legs I can wait for them if you don’t have any up. she then turns around and ask the cook who act like he didn’t hear her and was standing right there. She repeated herself three times and he then said no I’m not dropping anymore chicken. The manager was standing right there heard everything and seen everything and never open her mouth I turn around and walk away. Nobody said anything to me. Bad customer service that was my first time going here and my last and I will never recommend this store to anyone or anything.
