Walked in for takeout, was told it would be a couple more minutes before my order was ready. 4 minutes later, told it would be an additional 10 minutes. After those 10 minutes were up, it was another 6 minutes. Then another 10 before I actually got my order.
If you want “fast” food, avoid this place. Over 30 minutes I waited for my food after placing an online order 15 minutes prior to me being there.
Manager was a taller woman. Instead of her helping her crew, who were all obviously struggling, she took a FaceTime call and put airpods in… I get that this is a Popeyes but cmon.
Shoutout to the two young white and black gentlemen working there that both had glasses. Didn’t catch their names but I did think it was funny how they were the youngest AND the only 2 people actually working.
If you want to waste 45 minutes of your time (at 4pm btw on a weekday, so not busy at all), this is the place to go!

I usually order ahead & pick up in store. I have 4 stars bc it seems they don’t start the order until I am there… but more that I’m used to it, it’s not bad- always hot- so that’s a plus. (Blackened chicken tenders) The last time I was in, the service was so excellent I complimented through their website. It’s clean, fairly busy. The chicken sandwich is the best around, blackened chicken tenders are absolutely delicious especially with the blackened ranch sauce. Hot honey sauce is perfect for biscuits, all sauces are good. Regular fried chicken is delish, juicy & crispy. Beans &rice- yum, mac&cheese – yum, fries (which I usually don’t get anywhere) also yum. Can’t go wrong really.
Very consistent flavor & quality. IMO Way better & consistent than the other “fast” chicken place.
If they do ever “forget”an item- they make it right – good customer service.

We placed an order for bone-in signature hot wings. Our order arrived after 15 minutes, but it was boneless wings instead. Unfortunately, we didn’t notice until we had eaten them. We informed the server about the error. While they offered to remake the correct order, we were forced to wait an additional 20 minutes. This experience, combined with the staff’s attitude, left us feeling disrespected and subjected to racial discrimination.

2nd time I’ve gone through in the past 2 weeks and they don’t have any of the food ready. They stop having dark meat available after 10pm and it’s a 15 min wait for them cook more. Asked for a spicy chicken sandwich and they were out of fillets. I should have just left but decided to try some tenders and fries. Fries were cold and stuck together and the tenders did not taste normal. I give up I just got a job down the street from here and will not be returning ever again and I love fried chicken what a shame

i ordered on the app for delivery and ordered a chicken sandwich with extra mayonnaise and what i received was the most inedible thing. i open the bag to the sandwich and all i see is mayonnaise covering the entire piece of chicken, as if someone in that kitchen just dipped the chicken in mayonnaise. it was disgusting and i couldn’t even stomach one bite of it. you have to be very ignorant to think that that is something someone wants to eat. won’t be coming back to this store again.

A few weeks ago we bought a bunch of chicken strips from this location. They were all old and cold. I told the wife never again. Today I decided to give them a second chance with the bone in 8 piece meal. The chicken was hot and so were the sides. But we got zero breasts. Every chicken place in the entire world, meaning on Earth serves 2 breasts and 2 thighs 2 wings and legs…. not this one!

They must be paying people for the good reviews. This place was the same 6 months ago, as it was today. You WILL wait a minimum of twenty minutes if they make you pull forward at the drive thru. The ‘manager’ Calvin treats you terribly, both visits he’s done so- when it’s his fault the restaurant doesn’t operate right. The food that I waited 23 minutes for was less than favorable. Save your time, money and patience and go to ANY other restaurant in Mason.

Spicy chicken strips were dry like beef jerkey . Breading was so hard you could not bite through it. They had to be sitting out for hours under a heat lamp. Wait was 35 minutes from the time pulled up to drive through to time when got food, but I’m not holding the slow service against them as most places are short staffed but there’s no reason to serve hours old food. If it’s old tell the customer it’s out and not sell them old food. Only reason for 2 stars was the biscuits we’re good.

Do not order the 16 pieces of chicken ànd order the sides you can only pick up to 7 sides and that is only small sides . It says that it will feed up to 8 people .so someone will be let out on the sides. The sides are for one person portions.hope no one would like a side and a biscuit you can’t get it. So disappointed.
