Stopped by the Popeyes in Boardman and ordered the 3-piece chicken combo with mashed potatoes, red beans, and an apple pie. The food was fresh, hot, and tasted really good. The chicken had a nice crunch and was juicy inside, the sides were seasoned well, and the apple pie came out warm and crispy.
I also noticed how much this location has improved. It feels cleaner, more organized, and just better overall compared to how it used to be with the previous management. The new manager, Borsha, is doing a great job. She was friendly, checked in with people, and you can tell she really cares about how the place runs. Her team seemed more engaged and on top of things too.
Honestly, compared to some other Popeyes locations around here, this one has stepped up a lot. The service was quicker, and the whole experience just felt smoother.
Shoutout to Borsha and the team—they’re definitely making a positive difference. I’ll be coming back for sure.

I tried the new chicken wrap and it was absolutely delicious! The staff at this location are amazing—friendly, helpful, and truly go above and beyond. Even though the lobby was super busy, it was spotless and very well maintained. I really love this location and will definitely be coming back!

A simple order of two 3-pieces, no sides or drinks just straight chicken, resulted in a 15 minute wait to even get to the drive thru window (with only 2 cars waiting, no line, just waiting). There, they said it would be another 15 minute wait while they “dropped the chicken”. I said I was kinda short on time, could they switch out different pieces or something, and they said I could wait or “get it raw”. RAW. I don’t know if they actually meant that or were just being jerks but OH MY GOD. I did what they said, waited for my order but for real I was afraid they would “mess” with the food. I got the order and the pieces were wrong. At that point I just left. You couldn’t pay me to try that Popeyes again.

Expect to wait a very long time if ordering after 10pm(mobile or not) or if they pull you around they’ll completely forget about you. I had to call to remind them that I was sitting outside after being told it was a 4 min wait on fries. 30-35 mins later I received my food and by the time I got home everything was cold! I will not be ordering here anymore!
