WARNING LONG REVIEW!
My husband and I went to the Popeyes on Cherry Street, the staff was okay. I ordered the five piece tenders meal, I asked for Cajun Rice which they did not have, so I substituted for coleslaw which was nasty and runny, I got a strawberry drink, which tasted like carbonated water so I had to get another drink. My husband got the three piece meal with red beans and rice, the chicken was hard and tasted of old cooking grease, the tenders were the same. The store was dirty, and there was a guy sitting at a table with one of his shoes off and his foot up on the table, no one had enough sense to tell him to take his foot off the table and put his shoe back on. For the money we spent in there I expect better service than what we received. The wait time was very long at least 27 minutes. A week later we went to the Secor location, while their chicken was a little better, they also did not have Cajun Rice, we did not go in, but went through drive-thru, the wait to order was long almost 20 minutes, the staff okay. Once we got to the window we had to wait another 5 to 7 minutes to get our food. The strawberry soft drink were good. Secor was the better of the two locations, needless to say we will not be going back to the Cherry Street location. One more thing it would be nice if they would have the Cajun Rice. Whenever we go neither store has the rice which is ridiculous since it’s advertised on the menu that they sell it. If you go to either location be prepared to wait awhile to place your order and possibly receive it. We’ll just stick with KFC!

I’m really conflicted about this Popeye’s. The food itself was delicious—fresh, hot, and great portions for the price. Unfortunately, the overall experience was rough. There was a man on the property clearly tweaked out hovering around the drive-thru, and several staff members were outside arguing for nearly 30 minutes. The drive-thru wait was over an hour, and since the app doesn’t let you cancel an order, I was stuck waiting. In the end, the food was worth it taste-wise, but the experience at this location was very disappointing.

If you have your day to waste go there. Just know when they say wait on the side of the building and they will bring it out majority of the time they won’t. You have to go in yourself because they forget all about you. 3 too many times for me especially when one order was only apple pies that they said would only take 7 minutes. Only one person in front of me and it took over 20 minutes. I just said forget it and left. I’m sure they are losing more customers. They’d make way more money for the business if they were better with service. I’m starting to think some workers only go there for a check not to work.

The wait was really long, but the food was good and warm. Reason for four stars is because I did mobile order and drive thru pick up because I had my kids with me. Keeping that in mind, when I reached the order board and told them I had a pick up order they tried to tell me I had to come in to get it. Eventually they told me to pull around but appeared upset with me going through the drive thru even though the app recommended it as one method of retrieving the food.

I can’t tell you about the food but the rotten smell coming from the kitchen made my stomach turn ill immediately!! Omg I am so happy we went in, instead of the drive thur, so could be a witness and the employee knew it was bad, she chased us down in the parking lot to tell us about the $5 deals. I don’t care if it was $2 I wasn’t eating anything from out of there!!!

My husband is a door dasher and he had to wait 40 minutes to get his dash order. Other dashers were coming in to get their orders and were given to them to deliver while he stood there waiting. also, other dashers came in and left because the long wait time. The girl that was at the front counter was moving so slow that people were having to around to the front counter to help her do her job. When you are a Door dasher your time is money. my husband stayed out of loyalty for the customer. I can tell you that you all are loosing money and customers for being lazy and slow. He will never pick up from Popeyes ever again and I am pretty sure that other dashers feel the same way. I contacted the district manager to let him know what was going on in his store. Let’s see if he calls me back. I have a felling that he will not.

I went here last night maybe an hour before closing and the manager there was outright rude and disgusting!! I will never come back or recommend people to come here!!
The food was out right disgusting and got sick after eating it!!
The Mac and cheese that i had ordered was burnt and also didn’t even fill the container, literally one tablespoon of Mac and cheese!!
I want to speak to upper management but there’s no number to call and complain or anything of the sorts!!
This is a disappointing experience and service!!

The food is great but the customer service is terrible, one of the young girls forgot one of our items and when we came back for it you could hear her tell her coworkers “ they lying” through her headset not realizing that we could still hear her. We spent $40+ just to be called a liar because SHE forgot an item. Unprofessional and sickening
