Casual venue in a strip mall plating classic Vietnamese fare like spring rolls & soft shell crab.

A great restaurant! Like the TARDIS from Doctor Who, it’s larger on the inside! A decent dining area and you won’t feel cramped. The menu is quite large, easy to read, and the staff are happy to help if you’re not sure. Meals are quite big. Thoroughly recommend the Vietnamese Pancake for entree. It’s savoury and is as big as a pizza folded over. The Clay Pot Rice as a large main is easily big enough for two, or ask for a takeaway container and have for lunch the next day. The Soft Shell Crab is really good too. Make sure you have a 333 beer to complete the Vietnamese experience. The Lychee cider is tasty and not too sweet. 110% recommended.

Despite the restaurant may look abit ordinary but it’s a surprisingly nice Vietnamese restaurant outside the Adelaide city.
Offer both taste and value for money for our meal.
Ordered their Clay Pot Rice, Hà Nội Style Spring Roll and a 3 coloured ice drink to go with it.
The clay pot portion is very generous, the bbq pork and Chinese sausage is a nice combination making the rice full of flavour.
The spring rolls is also generous has abit of sweetness and moisture that goes well with the deep fried flaky outer skin.
The owner and staff are friendly and helpful with our order. The service is very quick.
Definitely happy to come back again for more.

*note I will only give 5 if fully vegan & worth it*
I have been to Mai Kitchen countless times. It is always plentiful, tasty & they’re very welcoming.
I’ve had everything on the vegan menu now which must be about 40-50ish items? (I’ll count next time)
Very good place to go with friends/ family.
I just love Mai Kitchen!
It can get busy and loud at times though, which personally I don’t mind so much.

Another wonderful night out with friends enjoying genuine, authentic Vietnamese cuisine tucked away in the suburbs on Ferryden, Adelaide. It was our first time dining here, and what a pleasant surprise! Don’t be fooled by the modest exterior, step inside and you’ll find a bustling dining room full of happy diners (always a great sign). We ordered a variety of dishes and loved every one of them, I only wish I’d taken photos to share! The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic. The service was warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely lovely.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful dishes and hospitality with us, we’ll definitely be back.

I try three dishes:
Fried ice cream
Vegan roast pork
Clay pot rice(M)
Recommend the ice cream
Egg soda is not what I expect, thought it similar to eggnog but it just like Sting red + condensed milk.
The park roast is okay
Clay pot can’t recommend based on my taste it not worth the money or taste that good, also come with an expect of the chinese sausage is large or medium at least but kinda disappointed bc it just the small pieces that usually in fried rice.

A popular local casual Vietnamese restaurant. Tasty food options and generous serves. Great beer for summer. Entrée dishes are fantastic as individual dishes.

Always love coming here. The food is consistently high standard and great value. The staff are friendly and attentive. We recommend Vietnamese beers, Hanoi spring rolls and the Combination make-your-own cold rolls.
It has a wide menu for vegans too.
