We weren’t expecting much considering it was 7:00 at night but they still managed to underwhelm us with the “service”. Rain was dripping onto the counter as we ordered. They got our order wrong and red beans and rice were the worst that I have ever had. Popeyes is known for their chicken, biscuits and red beans and rice. I am from New Orleans and their red beans have been the same regardless of location until this trip. It was mostly rice and the beans were dry. Overall it was a miserable dining experience.

Great food. Great staff. Ok prices. Love the manager/owner. He makes sure that customers have a great experience even in the drive thru. I keep coming back and also tell all my friends and family to support this store.

Came here tonight 2/2/2025. Two people were working, a large black man and colorful haired white woman. I get to the drive thru and say I want a #2 and he asks what I want to drink. I said I wanted a sweet tea and he said they didn’t have any. So I said “I don’t know let me see”. He responded in a sassy tone and said “K Have a good night bye”. I didn’t understand what I had done wrong and it wasn’t like I was holding up their progress considering there was only one car in front of me and none behind me and no customers inside the store. I stayed at the box for 2 minutes saying hello and he ignored me. I can’t just leave because there are concrete barriers preventing this from happening. So I pull up behind the one car who is waiting on their order. He makes a few comments to them about how he has time. So I sat behind this car for 15 minutes. Got to the window and he was looking at me dumb. I said to him I ordered a #2 and he rings it up and charges me 12 dollars and some change. He goes over there and is making comments to himself. Grabs a tiny piece of chicken and is slapping together my sandwich. He puts the chicken sandwich and fries in bag. No drink. And 2 buffalo sauces with so much sass. Hands me the bag and I leave. Well he didn’t put any bacon on my sandwich and everything is covered in Buffalo sauce because he squeezed the packs tight before throwing them in the bag. So all the packaging and entire inside of bag in covered in the sauce. Such a mess. I still don’t understand what I did wrong. I was having a good night about to take my daughter to the movie theatre, it’s my last night in America, I deploy tomorrow and was just trying to have a quick meal with my kid. If you are having a bad day maybe go to therapy or take your medicine. Maybe don’t let the frustration of working in fast food get to you that bad that you are mad because a customer asks you to give them a moment to figure out what else they would like to drink since you don’t have what they asked for.

This was the most disrespectful restaurant I’ve been to. Two people already waiting on food when we went in , still took them 15 mins to even take our order . Yes we had 2 families so they were pretty big orders but the customer service was horrible . Then took us another 40 mins to get our food . The customers are the ones paying your paycheck if you don’t want to be there then stay home . Even got disrespectful to my mom

If I could give no stars I would. I keep trying to give this place a chance and every time I go here something is either raw, or wrong. Halfway through eating my sandwich I took a bite that felt like rubber, soon to find out it was raw. Spend $12 on a meal, for them not to cook the main part when there was literally no line and nobody inside. I recommend checking your food before you eat here.

I’ve picked up food there only three times. All three at night after 9pm.
There’s always someone who doesn’t work there just hanging out in one of the drive through lanes. My first time was s Saturday night and they spent more time playing around with their friends than taking orders. I literally watched them give food away for free then tell the next customer that they were out of chicken. The staff there is definitely prejudice.

Popeyes has one of the worse managers who can’t keep a staff, the store never honor any coupon, the food seems like is cooked then allowed to hang out until you order and that’s what you got warm leftovers chicken, bad management

Update: I had a conversation with the new GM who is trying to turn the store around. I’m excited to see the progress and am updating my review to a conservative 3 in consideration of her efforts.
I really need to stop giving this location another shot. Tonight, I pulled up at the inside lane and no one ever asked to take my order. While sitting there, two different cars pulled into the outside lane and their orders were taken, but their order showed up on the screen on the inside lane, in front of me. I moved to the outside lane and was finally able to place my order, then sat in the drive-thru for 25 minutes, waiting for it. I drove 15 minutes back home and opened my 12 piece chicken box to find 4 pieces of chicken. I don’t think I have ever received an order from this location that is complete and correctly cooked. We either have pieces missing, we have the wrong sides, or in one case, our Cajun rice was somehow mushy and crunchy at the same time.

Ordered a spicy chicken tender platter, got regular, not too upset. Asked for the buffalo dipping sauce, didnt get any, SUPER upset. I got 0% spiciness when I wanted 100%. I get it’s “just food” but if im ordering food a certain way, its because I want it that way. Let’s try to do better next time.

Joshua and employee at this particular location, is 1 of the better employees I have seen in a long time. He was taking drive thru orders and filling them, also coming out to the lobby and asking the inside diners how their experience was and if he needed to correct anything. Then a customer in the drive thru forgot some of their food and he ran them down on foot to make sure they got what they paid for. He was a breath of fresh air to watch, because he showed by his actions that he truly cares for his customers. The bathrooms were dirty and needed some attention. The food for the most part was good. My biscuit tasted good, but it was a bit dry and hard. The chicken breast was also dry. I take off all the skin and just eat the white meat, so it was hard to swallow, I had to have a drink. But all in all it was worth the drive, Joshua is a great employee and sets a fine example for the other employees. I would go back and I do recommend this particular Popeyes. Thanks Joshua and team.
