Sat in the drive through almost half an hour waiting for my food. Place was not busy, but still had to wait like they were in the back plucking the feathers and slaughtering the chickens. Went in to ask how long and was told “we coming” waited another 5 minutes after that. Definitely won’t be back.

If this restaurant represented Mississippi it would be perfect. Horribly neglected and disgusting. Sink in bathroom was brown, mat under drink machine was disgusting and smelt sour, floor was slimy and covered in dirt, no soap in bathroom… which makes me wonder how are employees washing their hands?? Order was wrong and it was missing half of what I ordered. Kitchen has standing, cloudy water. No employees use gloves.

The worst food and service as we traveled. After this experience our family decided we would probably never revisit a Popeyes. A few staff members obviously did not want to be there. All of our orders were correct and delicious. We had to wait a few minutes for spicy chicken, but who doesn’t mind to wait for fresh chicken? The service was just as expected and everything was just fine.

Poorly managed! The store stunk the employees were rude 5 people were working to which the manager and 2 other were on break and no one was at the counter to take orders. The manager was sitting at the table directly in front of the counter she never said anything about someone will be with you shortly or anything. Whe the young lady came from back with a Birthday Girl crown on she had brought some bowls of something and put in warmer, and stayed with her back to me for several minutes before asking me what I wanted to order and if it was fine in or carry out we were going to eat in. A older man was standing at the small area at the end of the drink machine waiting he was there when we went in and was probably 20 minutes or more before he finally received his food which was a carry out. My husband stood at counter for a few minutes before he went to bathroom he had came out and I was still waiting to order. We should have just turned and walked out but my dumb tail patiently stand and wait when she finally ask for my order I got our cups went and fixed drinks and sit down and waited for 20 minutes when my husband said let’s go get our money back and leave, when he asked the girl behind the counter to just give him back our money we would got elsewhere to eat she pointed to the lady sitting at the table she mumbled something when she got up and when she got behind counter one of them said the order was about done fries don’t take no 20mins in hot grease and we didn’t hear no cooker going. She refund our money and popped off they didn’t need our business any way. If a business operates like this I can see why so many are closing. We own our own business I we would never speak to customers in this way.

Maybe I came on the wrong day or at the wrong time; they had me to pull up to wait for food, fries were cold, chicken sandwich was the worse sandwich I ever had (2nd worse), the only good thing was the soda which they forgot to give me. If I go back to waynesboro I will try it again just so I won’t be basing my opinion on one try.

Worst Popeyes in Mississippi. Ordered a 6 pc combo with a pie, told to pull into a parking spot, waited for over 30 minutes (for ONE 6pc meal mind you) only to be given JUST the 6pc, no side, no drink, no pie. I let them know, and they apologize and offer to give me the meal and a refund. Why am I leaving the Popeyes and I see that they didn’t refund me, but charged me TWICE?!

Absolutely ridiculous. Theres no point in going to this Popeye’s they never seem to have chicken cooked and ready. They wait to cook the chicken until they get an order and then the customer has to wait for 15-20 mins while they cook the chicken. They don’t tell you how long your wait will be they just tell you to pull up and they’ll bring it out to you. It’s always dirty and smells horrible inside this restaurant. None of the employees take their job seriously they are to busy yelling back and forth at each other to remember they have an actual job to do. They have a sign out front by the drive thru menu that says they have strawberry biscuits on the menu but when you place an order for strawberry biscuits they tell you they don’t have those anymore. Honestly at this point the owner would be better off shutting the restaurant down, firing them all and hiring completely new staff because the money that’s being paid to these workers isn’t worth it.
