Oh my! This was the best Popeyes my husband and i have ate at. Monday 4/3/23 10am. Everyone welcomed us into the store. The cashier took our order with a smile. The food was piping hot and fresh. It was good. The restaurant was clean. The environment was very friendly. Will definitely visit again when I’m in Forest.

I went and bought dinner for my family which was well over $50.00. The young girl taking my order was very short and did not want to be bothered by my large order. Our chicken was dry, fries cold, and the large max and cheese barely had any in the container….hence the picture! Those young kids working could care less!

The food was pretty ok. The girl taking our order couldn’t have been less connected to what was going on in front of her. We literally all ordered a number 3. She rang up all number 1’s. I don’t know that it would have mattered what number combo meal we ordered she was going to hit 1. We tried to get it fixed and the manager couldn’t deal with it because he was trying to fix all the wrong orders from everyone that got their food before us.

The blackened chicken sandwich is a slightly healthier change of pace from the battered-and-fried options, and has a nice flavor. One drawback: The chicken breast was balled up like a big meatball and was too small in diameter for the bun/too thick to be eaten in a sandwich. That may have been just a fluke, though. There was also a bit too much sauce, but the sauce was tasty. It was a good sandwich, just thick and messy.
