I have been a doordasher and customer for a while now, and I have refrained from writing a review because I can typically chalk it up to someone having a bad day. After my trip today, I am just done coming here. I love Popeyes. It has been my favorite place to go since I was a small child, and that is typically what keeps me coming back time after time. However, it is just not worth being treated and dismissed the way that the people working there treat me and other customers. I have never seen people that have more disdain for their job than at this specific Popeyes location. It is very clear that they do not care AT ALL about the customer experience or moving effectively. I have worked in the food industry for years. I get it. It’s hard work and it takes a lot out of you, so I don’t expect to be treated like a queen when I go eat or really anywhere. However, I do prefer to be treated with basic human respect. I am always perfectly polite and thankful, so it is not any issue with how I was behaving. This is just truly a new level of apathy and disdain. I would highly recommend more training and a more effective manager. It’s unacceptable, and I just give up. I’ll just eat Popeyes when I travel now because it’s no longer worth it to get from this location. Anyone that goes here can expect to be treated like you are nothing more than a complete nuisance, dirty looks, apathy, and like you don’t exist.

The service at this location use to be so good. The last 3 visits have been terrible. They are always out of shrimp, strawberry Fanta or something. Ordered spicy chicken was give dry mild chicken that had no flavor. The mashed potatoes that were in family sided containers didn’t have enough gravy. And on top of that they have you waiting forever. I don’t mind waiting if my order is correct and my food is hot.

Foods good as always, love me some fried chicken, but it sucks when you walk in and you want a chicken sandwich and they don’t have the cheese to go with it. Not to mention, no KETCHUP, idk how you can be a restaurant today and not have ketchup. And the flies, they are all over, dead and alive, unsanitary. It’s like this Everytime we come here, I guess the foods good enough we keep coming back… Just irritating.

This location has terrible service. The store frequently closes early, runs out of food and supplies, and shorts orders. For example, today I didn’t get my requested sauces with a family-sized order of chicken strips, and my “large” orders of mashed potatoes were only half full. Food taste is usually on-point – and that’s why I’ll revisit from time to time, but don’t be surprised if spice items get mixed in with normal flavours. Don’t touch the counter if you go inside because it’s usually sticky, tables often sit dirty for 30+ minutes, the floor is slick with grease (take care walking in on a rainy day), and the restrooms stink of urine. The drive through was poorly planned – orders are seldom ready for pickup when you reach the window and they’ll ask you to pull forward to wait in a narrow area that is congested.

Food is usually reliable. Service and wait times are consistently awful in every location across the South. Even if you order 30 mins ahead, you’ll likely park and wait 20 minutes for them to make it. Why do I torture myself like this?

I took the toughest critic to this Popeyes (my mom) because I know that this is THEE BEST Popeyes I have ever eaten at. She LOVED it. The chicken was hot and fresh and the biscuits were just right. She loved it so much that she wanted it again the next day. We rode the 40 minutes back again to get more. Delicious as expected. They passed with flying colors by the toughest critic.

Today was the very first day that my wait was horrible. I placed my order about after 3, pull up paid for my food, pulled to the right of the curb and waited. I waited for about 25 minutes no food was brought out. I went on the inside and waited another 20. I have never experienced this type of wait. The workers generously asked if I wanted something else for the wait I said pretty much nothing. My facial expression said it all. The Manager is always kind and friendly to me. Ms. Jessica. She was shaking her head to because of my wait. Get it together young people. You have the best chicken you lose customers for things such as this.

I placed an online order one hour fifteen minutes prior to scheduled pickup time. I made it to Cleveland, MS Popeyes, at 2:07 PM. When I arrived there were workers sitting in the dining room eating. I was told by the workers ‘Ain’t no flour so we ain’t cooking no chicken.’ OK, understandable. However, there was no way to refund my money or anyone to speak with. I navigated through the Support app the best I could, giving a prompt to wait 24-48 hours to hear back from anyone. Even when I called the support phone number, nothing could be resolved. Customer service/ support needs to be better. Thankfully, I had more money to purchase chicken at KFC. KFC had flour, and the chicken was fresh and hot.

Order my food at 9:27pm @ 9:54 I still didn’t have my 12 ghost wings. Had to go inside only to see a rack full of them. My food was still not being prepared. It was 10 pm when I got my chicken. However the manager was super nice.
