This was hands down one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve ever had—and trust me, it takes a lot for me to say that. I don’t like leaving bad reviews. I’m the type of person who usually brushes things off, gives places the benefit of the doubt, and hopes the next time will be better. And for years, I’ve done exactly that with Popeyes. I’ve been a loyal customer, coming back time and time again because I love the food and wanted to believe the experience would improve. But this time? Enough is enough.
I went through the drive-thru, tired from a long day and just wanting to grab dinner for my family. Instead, I sat there for well OVER 30 minutes waiting for my order, watching car after car pull away as the line barely moved. Not once did anyone come to the window to apologize for the delay or offer an update. No acknowledgment. No courtesy. It felt like my time didn’t matter at all.
When I finally got my food, I felt my heart sink. The bag was a mess—soggy and falling apart from sauces and juices leaking everywhere. By the time I got it home, everything inside was cold, soggy, and unappetizing. I wanted to set the food on the table and enjoy a meal with my family, but instead, I was cleaning up a greasy mess in my car and trying to shake off how irritated and let down I felt.
What hit me the most wasn’t just the sloppy food or the long wait—it was the complete lack of basic kindness. Not a smile. Not a “thank you.” Not even the smallest sign that the staff cared about the people they were serving. I’ve worked in customer service before, and I know how tough it can be. But there’s no excuse for treating customers like they’re invisible.
Popeyes says “Love That Chicken from Popeyes.” But after this experience, can you love that chicken from Popeyes if the service is crappy?
I’ve stayed loyal for years because I truly enjoy the food, but loyalty only goes so far. When a place repeatedly shows that they don’t value their customers, it’s hard to keep giving them chance after chance. This isn’t just about one bad night—it’s a pattern, and if this is the standard Popeyes is willing to accept, they shouldn’t be surprised when even their most patient customers finally stop coming back.

My order was made at 7:22 P.M. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30. At 8:00 I was still waiting for 7pc’s of chicken. After “checking” on my order 2X and waiting over 30 minutes for FAST FOOD I left. Still have not heard from customer service on a REFUND on the food, or compensation on the 1/4 tank of gas used in the parking lot.
5 days later still no contact from customer service and no further to a refund.

The chicken was good the fries were hot and good.. the Mac and cheese was very oily like and not very good. Could not take my order from the front counter had to back and forth from drive thru and did NOT give me any of the biscuits for the meals but assured me everything was in there. It would not be a problem if I didn’t pay for them but ur literally stealing money from people charging them for food they dont even get. I would of done a receipt review but she did not give me my receipt instead balled it up and threw it in trash.

Everytime I have came to this location through the drive thru, every car is told to go park in the parking lot. As someone who worked n fast food I am aware that this to make it look as if the window time is staying low. Unfortunately it takes nearly 20 minutes to get your order and when you get it, it wrong or missing items. After tonight we will not be returning to this location again. Tonight when I placed my order 6 cars were already parked waiting on their orders, I was also told to park, my order took over 20 minutes to receive it, the cashier had not rang up part of my order. The staff got an attitude when it was asked for. I told them I had no problem paying for it if it wasn’t put in before. One staff member in the kitchen was talking to someone on speaker phone with his phone in his hand while he was preparing orders. This is completely unacceptable and unsanitary. Then I get home and the biscuits aren’t on the bag either. We will not be returning to this location again.

We have ordered from this location many times. And for some reason they can never get our order right. Well after tonight’s surprise I doubt will be getting food from here again. I found what looks like black mold in the bottom of my mashed potatoes. Popeyes yall need to do better.

I actually wanted to let you know I was above and beyond impressed. I ordered online and picked up through the drive through 10/25/25 at 6:04pm. It looked like there was not a lot of staff there when I came through. The young man working the window looked like he had a very busy and taxing night. However my food was hot. My order was 100% correct. It actually tasted better than I remember this location ever being. Whoever was the manager on staff that night deserves some big props!

The atmosphere with chaotic. Ordering Thanksgiving turkey the store ran out. I had place my order ahead of time. No turkey at pickup. The staff just returned my funds. I ended up smoking my own meat. Over price. Do it myself next time! No!

Absolutely no reason to have drive-thru customers pull into random parking spaces just the have the cashier ask what you ordered. They weren’t even busy! My husband still had to go in the restaurant to get our meals because they forgot we were randomly told to park and wait for our food

Was really looking forward to my chicken sandwich combo so I waited in the drive thru for about 30 minutes for it. I got home and went to eat it and when I did, I noticed there was barely any mayo so I had to add it to the sandwich. That didn’t bother me but when I bit into it, it was stale. I couldn’t even chew it. You can tell it sat in the warmer for at least an hour. I worked at Popeyes before so I know what the old chicken patties look like. The only thing that was good was the potatoes. The employees were very rude while taking my order. Im very disappointed.
