Do these people know what they’re doing? I Asked for (( 10 pieces Fried chicken, spicy dark meat only)) and what they gave me was 10 hot wings with two containers of some weird hot sauce mixed with grainy sugar. From now on, I WILL drive the extra 7 miles past Pelham on hwy 31 to the next closet Popeyes. That place is cheaper, tastes so much better and they know what they’re doing are doing.

I got the #4 4 piece mild or this restaurant calls it classic with Red beans and rice, and I tell you!! That chicken was so doggone GREAT!! Fresh juicy and full of flavor. It was truly worth the walk from the Galleria lot to the indoor food court.

The only Popeyes I’ve been to in Alabama where my food is consistently hot and fresh (ymmv, I only order items with no bones). Portions also seem to be more fairly sized than in other locations.
Prices are higher and there’s the inconvenience of being located in a mall but worth it imo if you’re specifically wanting Popeyes.

You can’t use the Popeyes App, which means no rewards or Deal coupons and the food costs more in this location than in any other Popeyes stores. One visit here was good enough for a lifetime.

Used to come here at least once a week and spend $15+ on blackened tenders. Nope, done. Tried to charge me 25 cents for sauce when I ordered blackened tenders. You kidding me? Already paying extra for blackened tenders and I don’t get a single sauce? Really stinks because the blackened tenders are really good. Do better!

Despite the first pic, this Popeyes is part of the Galleria Riverchase food court. Went at lunch on a Saturday. Food court area was busy, but the line here wasn’t very long. Turns out, we had the friendliest and quickest service we’ve ever had at any Popeyes! This is now our go-to location for the franchise in the Birmingham area.

Will not come back to this location. My partner had the chicken sandwich on 04/26 and ~8 hours later he began vomiting consistently into the day. It wasn’t until he was seen at the ER and was given an IV that the vomiting ceased. Except now, he is dealing with the other consequences of food poisoning and his body is trying to compensate for it. I have not seen him in this much discomfort before and I will never forgive this chain for that. Instead of leaving food out for God knows how long, it should be a standard to produce safe and quality food to the public. While I know everyone’s experience will not be built the same, hopefully this review will have others consider what they’re putting into their bodies and how it may affect them. I would think carefully about eating here unless you want visits to your doctor and the hospital.

Thought I was going to get a hot delicious spicy chicken sandwich but there was nothing hot about it I took it back only for the guy working there to stick a thermometer in another piece of chicken and tell me it’s hot when I’m holding a cold sandwich in my hand needless to say I had to get a refund and go to chick fil a for a real hot sandwich terrible service compared to other popeyes I’ve eaten at

I don’t see why this place gets a bad rep. It may have been bad in the past but now I think it’s amazing. You get your food very quick. It is hot and fresh too. The workers are nice and there are many places to sit. There are many other food places by it too to have as dessert such as Auntie Anne’s. (You have to try the cinnamon sugar pretzel nuggets.) I got fried chicken and it was crispy, juicy, and hot. My friends got tenders and chicken sandwiches and said they were amazing. The mashed potatoes were nice and creamy. The gravy was so good and had a kick to it. The mac and cheese was so creamy and cheesy. If you love mac and cheese, you should definitely try it. The biscuits were moist and buttery. They were not dry like a lot of Popeyes locations have a reputation for. I don’t think food court food could get any better.
