I cashed in a coupon for a $6.99 meal and was served in surprisingly little time. The mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing and the chicken was hot, juicy and full of flavor (I recommend dark meat)! There is a very spacious dining area and a quiet atmosphere. The food and service were great. The only downsides are that there is no mobile pickup area and the mens’ restroom door doesn’t lock.

I remember when fast food was fast and cheap. Now it’s expensive and slow. I understand food costs in 2026 but the establishment should at least have ample staffing. When I walked in for a takeout order it was a disaster inside. People waiting long periods to order. Incorrect orders. Messed up refunds. A long list of issues. I felt bad for the two elderly woman working out back who looked like they had been ran ragged all day. Probably underpaid and can’t afford to retire. It took 15 minutes just to order my food. Then another 20 minutes to get my food. I have a poor back and pulled a stool out to sit near the counter. About 15 minutes into waiting one of the managers berated me about sitting on the stool and gave me an attitude about putting it back. I’m sorry, maybe make my food faster and I wouldn’t have to sit for long periods of time. Long story short, understaffed, rude, and slow. Just another franchise owner looking to cut as many corners as possible to fill his pockets at the expense of the customer.

Okeechobee Popeyes needs help! We love Popeyes & frequent them around the state but the food here was suspect. The chicken was bland like they forgot the seasoning. My chicken leg was soggy. The mash potatoes were grainy & there wasn’t enough gravy to help. Staff was impersonal & messed up our order giving us the wrong chicken when we asked for dark.

Ordered through the app for the first time, was met with fast and friendly service, per usual. Order was correct, down to the sauces and spices, including utensils and food was delicious! This location has always been on point for me and I greatly appreciate the employees!

Construction work was being done to make the drive through more palatable, therefore I had to go inside for service. That wasn’t bad at all. I don’t usually shop at fast food venues because the nutritional value is extremely low. But this wasn’t a bad stop at all.

I placed my order inside. The cooks were doing an amazing job. The lady that seemed to be in charge of the front of the house was short and rude. Slow, slow, slowest service experience. One customer holding a receipt never even got acknowledged, and she finally left without being helped. They weren’t even busy.
