You may have seen me or my wife’s post about the Popeyes location in Northport. It’s often Miss when you think of hit or miss. But this time Izzy took our order and by the time she gave me my receipt the food was out. The order was perfect. Maybe she’s the good luck charm!

Tried to get food for my family for dinner around 4:50 today, got to the order box, a young boy said hold on, I was there waiting for 5 minutes so I said “hello” again, the kid answered nasty n said “hold on!” so I drove to the order window. As I got up there, he rolled his eyes, and strolled to the window. No one in the store just him and another worker both very young. I asked him if he was “busy” as I knew they weren’t, he answered with a shrug of his shoulders. He made me feel like he was going to spit in my food so I told him to have a good night n told the two ppl behind me not to order n they also left the drive thru line. Maybe hire humans that actually want to work and don’t want to make your business lose money?

Struggled with order board. Indicate I would pay at counter, and the counter assistant could not locate my order. I agreed I would start over as another customer was behind me at counter, and did not want to hold them up. Was then called to say my order would have a 12 minute wait because I selected all dark meat. I asked if I accepted a mix box of white and dark if that would change my wait. Clerk went around corner to say “she would accept ‘regular'”. I got one breast, two thighs and 5 wings instead of what I really wanted but didnt wait for. Then an employee called my name to tell me the dessert option was unavailable, and would I would to substitute fries. No, could I receive a credit. Yes, was the reply. A third employee came to counter calling my name with a bag full. She proceeded to spend a long time keying and keying to then credit my dessert. I got home to find my cole slaw side (clearly on bag tag) was missing as well. So while all employees were pleasant, this was a very unsatisfying “easy” meal. Will not repeat.

2/15 ordered two classic combos. Paid…asked to pull forward and wait. 40 minutes later food comes out. It’s cold. Looks and tastes like it’s been sitting out. Called the store left a message. No call back, called the store again…no callback.

They can never move at a speed that is like any surrounding places when I order door dash the drivers always have to apologize and something is always missing or wrong for such expensive food they could do better. The door dash tho is the worst but if u go thru drive thru check ur order before u leave. 22 mins 2 days ago for 6 wings n 3 tenders n 4 sides..

The new management of this location was very attentive, helpful, patient while we figured out the best coupons to use, and even the staff was happy and smiling. What a nice surprise on a rainy day, to have chicken sandwiches that were hot and fresh, served with a smile! Thanks to you all for making a memory for me and my guests!

I don’t understand how in the world it takes 30+ minutes to get food made. Every single customer told to pull ahead and park and every single customer waiting 30+ minutes. Seems like they have no food prepared and everything is MTO? Unfortunately, no other MTO chains take this long. Listen to the other reviews. Popeyes is Popeyes, but plan for extended waits and don’t go if you’re already hungry. Plenty of other fast food nearby and I’d recommend just about any other one. Heck even a date at Ruth’s Chris would have you in and out quicker than this place. Ownership and management not appearing to listen to the overwhelming negative feedback they get on this place because it seems nothing has changed.

I love Popeyes but this location seems to stop cooking half of their menu an hour before they close, so know that you’re probably getting old food if you go in the last hour. Tried to order and they would not make regular chicken tenders blackened tenders or boneless wings, I have no idea why… don’t you guys fry the chicken? Does not take long to fry a couple chicken tenders.
