This is the best Popeyes in the Tampa/Brandon area!!! The friendliness of the employees genuinely caught me off guard, as that has not been my experience at other Popeyes locations. Not only was the staff welcoming, but the food was fresh and prepared quickly…. even though my order was a special request (all drums). The restaurant was clean and smelled good, which immediately stood out. Other Popeyes locations could learn a lot from how this one operates. If all locations maintained this level of service and quality, they would be a lot more popular.

Larry was pleasant and had exceptional customer service! He was polite and very accommodating. I’ve visited a lot of Popeyes in the Tampa area and can’t say anything good about any of them. I hate to do this but had no choice. Worst Popeye’s experience ever and I truly like their chicken. 1- Cashier was lost. He didn’t know how to take an order. Charged me for the wrong sandwich. I felt bad for him because I don’t think he was properly trained. 2- Order took about 15 minutes for one sandwich and three tenders. 3- Floor was sticky. 4- Our order was to go. The worst part was the final product. See the pictures of the sandwich that I got after being overcharged. Extremely disappointing.

This Popeyes is by far the best one ive ever been to. The workers are amazing. I got a Signature 3 piece and Michelle was an angel making sure everything was correct. The food is wonderful and the employees even more so. Left 10 times happier than I arrived and I feel extremely happy about the experience.

First off, I went through the drive through and the lady handed me someone else’s order. And if I didn’t check I would’ve driven away with it. Then I had to go back inside because the same lady was mad I “already grabbed it” even though SHE handed it to me. I had to wait 20inutes for the Mac and cheese when the lady said 8. They forgot the sauce, forgot the drink which both were payed for. And because of their planning half of my meal was cold. I kept getting dirty looks from the staff and there was a bunch of people at the front that weren’t even greeted, let alone got their orders taken. The workers looked exhausted and the only good thing about my experience was going home and eating my not even warm food. Honestly our meal should have been for free because of the hassle. If it wasn’t UP TO ME (which it shouldn’t because these people should know how to read a name and hand me the right bag) I would’ve gotten a completely wrong order. I even told the lady my name and she STILL read the receipt and handed me the wrong one.

Food is amazing, as usual, but the service is not necessarily consistent. No one is mean or unpleasant. Just check your box before you leave. I have had issues with my order multiple times! I keep coming back because they correct it, but what a strange issue.

We popped in for a quick bite, and were treated to a minor adventure.
The chicken sandwich took fifteen minutes to be served, and not quite cooked through. It was paired with cold, wilted fries. The three napkin dispensers in the lobby were empty, and the young lady in the drive through nook I flagged down & asked for napkins rolled her eyes before handing me a few from behind the counter. All of the lobby tables could have used a good cleaning. The same goes for the floors and the drink station.
The bathroom was unpleasant, with pooled fluids on the floor, Steel Reserve cans in the trash, and no paper towels in the dispenser.
The cosmetic and cleanliness issues aside, all is not lost. When shown the iffy sandwich, a staff member whose name tag read “Mr. T” had a new one prepared. The remaining staff (aside from napkin girl) were friendly. Our order included a biscuit, which was warm and tasty.
I’ve been to this location a good number of times over the past twenty years, and this is the worst I’ve seen it. One rough experience won’t turn me off forever (provided I don’t die of salmonella), but the food safety and the overall cleanliness need to be tightened up.

Popeyes is still a decent place to get some chicken. It’s a small place, but the decor was decent. However, the cleanliness may need to be improved. The service was unexpectedly fast compared to other Popeyes I’ve been too.
The wings are recommended to order, as they have lots of flavor and spice. However, for a milder option, stick to the chicken tenders. The tenders have a good breading, and the Cajun fries have a nice flavor. The biscuit on the side was fluffy and high quality. Overall, would recommend this place for takeout.

It’s been a while buying copies chicken and they were super busy. My order was just right and fast enough. Place was clean even though it was busy. Chicken was prepared great.

This establishment needs to shut its doors. They do not even deserve the one star I gave. I was told 15 minute wait for a 9 piece family meal which turned into 45 minutes cause they gave all the legs to another customer. Not once did they apologize, offer a free item, offer a different piece of chicken to replace the missing legs, or anything that could ease the lack of performance. Popeyes (especially this one) is a disgusting disgrace.
