I waited 20 minutes for my food and was told they were out of Cajun fries. I asked for Mac and cheese instead but they said it was a dollar more. I was going to pay them but they said we will let you have it. They said my food still wasn’t ready yet. At this time around five other people were waiting for their food. About 15 minutes later they finally called my name. I had to go through people to get to it. There were about 12 people in front of the cash register all waiting for their food. They did not give me Mac and cheese but mash potato’s which I do not like. My chicken was very greasy and wasn’t spicy like I ordered. I could barely squeeze a chicken strip and grease was dripping. I ate one strip but could not the rest. I had to throw it all away. Everybody was still waiting for their food when I walked out. The workers were all very unorganized. They all seemed lost. This place used to be to be great. Food was great and a very clean building. They need to get their act together and maybe have new manager. I will never go back here again.

I was driving through and looking forward to eating some chicken. The store was slow and a male worker told me if I could not get food unless I order from the kiosk. There was 3 workers standing and all registers were open. I shouldn’t have to place my own order. I asked he they would take my order they said no they were busy. Restaurant was clean, but it felt dingy & it was a newer or remodeled. You have to order at the kiosk. Kinda sucked. Nobody in line seemed to know how & it took forever. Some staff had it going on. They knew what they were doing & they were great. Others … just didn’t need to be there. Our food was good, it was hot. The restrooms were clean enough. There was one patron that literally had people leaving. She was loud, obnoxious & all over the place. She made it impossible to enjoy anything. The staff told her to lower her voice & calm down. She did for all of 7 seconds. I know that’s not the staffs fault, but it made the experience an awful one.

I hate ordering on a kiosk. Then I have to pay with cash at the counter. My order was wrong and coke came out clear. Plus, you want to charge for sauces now.
I wouldn’t even be leaving a review, if the lady behind the counter wasn’t so rude. Points to a sign to tell us to use the kiosk. Then we had to wait for her to take the cash. No please or thank you. It would make dealing with the other issues easier, if she had a better attitude. We will go to a different Popeyes from now on.

The food is always good here. The only draw back is time. You will need plenty of it. If you’re in a hurry, go to McDonald’s down the road or Burger King. Also, double check they give you the sauce for your strips. I always forget to check and end up with none. Still, best chicken in Clewiston.

I don’t understand this 3.7…. We started Desi’s Downtown Restaurant 25 years ago and im very hard to impress, our Restaurant in NWFL is a 4.7 and our Fried Chicken has been rated by Magazines the #2 spot in Florida but this is hands down the best Popeyes I’ve ever ate at. My fishing guide on the big O told me about this place. So we went Last Saturday and Sunday, it was packed. Now, the workers were not so friendly but thats OK when the food is cooked to perfection I can put up with a little attitude. Hands down the best Popeyes that ive ate at….ive counted atleast 15 states ive ate at Popeyes. Seriously, all fisherman that read this post needs to stop fishing for lunch and make a run then when you done hit it for dinner. We did everyday.

All the tables were dirty, so we had to clean one ourselves in order to dine in. Unbelievable wait time, plus the cashier with glasses and blue jacket on was very rude, no name tag.
