The Food: Chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned. Sides were good.
The Service: Long wait at the drive-through, but the window staff was very polite. They gave us plenty of napkins and utensils!
The Spot: Easy in-and-out with plenty of parking and two exit points

Standard Popeyes, the people are always great when I go. So let me tell you, IF you have never tried the Cajun Turkey you are really missing a treat. They don’t last and if you can get one before they run out you won’t be disappointed. We started getting the turkey about 4 years ago and no matter how good I do the traditional turkey, Popeyes Cajun wins every time!

I’ve been coming to this Argyle Forest Blvd location since it opened about 6 years ago, and it has steadily gone downhill. After tonight, I’m done.
I ordered two 3-piece combos and the new fried pickles. The girl at the window was “nice-ish” and told me it would be a 3-minute wait for the pickles. I ended up sitting there for over 10 minutes. I didn’t even mind the wait at first because I assumed the delay meant my food would at least be fresh. I was wrong.
The “10-minute wait” results:
The Chicken: Old, dry, and cold.
The Biscuits: Rock hard.
The Fried Pickles: These are new, but they were served cold and hard.
What exactly was the wait for? It’s clear the staff either doesn’t care or the management has completely lost control of quality standards. It is insulting to spend hard-earned money on substandard food and service. If the people working here don’t want to be there, they should be replaced by people who actually want to do the job.
This place is horrible. Save your money and go somewhere else where they actually value their customers. This location needs a total overhaul or it needs to close down.

I work at a restaurant in Argyle. Been at work since 7 am I stop here to get a fish sandwich. Placed my order 3:51 it’s now 4:14 I go inside to see where my food is. The manager TORI was rude and insensitive to me asking about my order. I asked for a refund bc why am I waiting like this and the restaurant is literally dead. Nah this is so unprofessional and ridiculous foreal. Y’all got to step up and move better in there

It’s a sad day to finally have to give a poor rating to a Popeye’s that should be higher than anything around in this busy neighborhood. First of all, this rating reflects the last 5 times I’ve visited. Either the staff is EXTREMELY slow or is being yelled at by the manager in front of customers or they’re giving you old chicken that’s been sitting out all day or just basic customer service skills are non-existent. It use to not be this way and this is going inside the restaurant. The Drive-Thru is no better with wait times exceeding well over 8-10 min just to order and 15 minutes to drive up and get the order.
I said 5 times recently. YES 5 because I always gave the benefit of the doubt and also gave leniency on different shift times and staff, but it broke my heart when I went the UberEats route to avoid going in the store and it still let me down. 5 times is more than generous to give this store location 5 chances to do better.
My recent order was their famous chicken sandwich. The sandwiches were not ticked/checked to show the difference between a Ghost Pepper or a classic sandwich. The outside chicken bag to keep them warm SPECIFICALLY is designed for them to mark which is which. When you have between 4-6 sandwiches in one carry out bag to feed a family, (WHICH AIN’T CHEAP) you can’t tell which is which and we don’t have time to bite into each sandwich to figure that out. I still don’t know if they even gave me the correct order. They all look the same.
It’s useless to try to hand out sandwiches to your family not knowing who can eat what and if one person is allergic to what spice or whatever the case may be. Circle It, Check, It, X It, Underline It and take the time to let the customer know. The buns were not toasted, but slightly soggy. No toppings like the pickle was on any of the sandwiches, and they were put together very sloppily.
On top of that, if you paid for the extra sauces, place them in the bag. I call fraud on anyone taking my money without giving me my goods. Not only is that a deceptive business practice, that is fraud plain and simple for which you can dispute the order with your card company because they did not deliver the goods in good faith. It’s an extra step they don’t expect you to go through to recoup some chump change, but there are people out there that will because it’s their chump change.
This is the SECOND TIME this has happened where I paid for something and didn’t get it and had to either go back to the store with receipt or wait more inside or in the drive thru until they got it right. I normally check the bag before leaving, but this time I could not and now this happened online.
It just ain’t right to keep getting bad service.

I went in today to pick up my family meal. Knowing it was a larger meal, I was prepared to wait longer. So, when I got to the window and the told the staff my name, I heard laughing from the kitchen saying “thats not going to be ready”. Then comes a red head from the back with a stank face. The drive through person asks her about how long the wait was, the girl didn’t answer and rolled her eyes. Drive through workers then comes to me and tells me she doesn’t want me to park because they’ll forget about my order. So, I’ll likely have to come in to wait. I told her thanks. When I got in the store the red head asks me why I left the window. I wasn’t going to wait there for an undefined amount of time. So, I told her no worries and went on my way to kill time. As I went in to get my food, an hour later- SURPRISE!!! It wasn’t ready. I was missing fries, drinks, sides…you name it. They did at least have the chicken though. Thankful for that. I ordered $100 of food. I wasn’t expecting the BEST service, but SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE would’ve been nice to have. If you don’t want to work in service, QUIT!!! I’ll never come back and suggest if youre reading this, you PICK ANOTHER PLACE! They were very unprofessional and just overall rude.

Food was good hot and fresh I went on a Sunday had the best service with only 2 people working I read these complaints and realized all of you guys are complaining when they explain to us what it is if you and fresh food then ask and I’ve went on multiple days because I love the apple pies they don’t serve food that’s been out all day most customers go in there not knowing what they want being entitled confusing the employees and complain when it’s messed up if you have a problem with the chicken or the time then go back there and cook it yourself it only makes sense I love to go on sundays but there short staff and sometimes I come inside to wait and you have customers who are so rude and there is only 2 people working like find somewhere else to eat don’t order food knowing you live 10-15 mins away and calling saying it’s cold I feel bad for the employees I love Tracy and a girl with a pony tail and a big brown skin girl they are always so polite. Some customers need help

The owners must not care at all aboutntheir establishment. How is it you can only take exact cash? How do you tell someone more than once the same thing by 2 different people when they both should have it on. How is it no system at 8;12 pm to process payments when its to be ipen until 11. The slowness. The lack of consideration. I haven’t had a meal all day and honestly wanted to not give you my money and extra money on top of that because change can’t be given. I wonder who’s skimming the registers. Ridiculous. And y’all can’t stop being lazy and remove the items you don’t sell from the menu.

Stopped by the store around 1 pm (12 Dec 25), went inside to place my order. Stood there waiting for someone to take my order. After standing there for approximately 5 minutes, I was informed that only the drive thru was open. Despite the doors being unlocked. I have never received such crude service. If you are only serving the drive thru, close the damn store and don’t let customers come in to place their order. I am thinking you need new management at that store. I have experienced shoddy service more than once. Will absolutely not stop at this location again. I went to my vehicle and drove off. No way would I spend my money where its not appreciated.
