This is our New Smyrna Beach’s own Popeye’s Louisiana Chicken. It’s the best.
We had the special which is 4 pieces for $5. The chicken pieces are huge and juicy. The spiced ones are really good. Even the non-special piece is very juicy.
I have been waiting for some good friend chicken in the area. It came at last.
The service is a bit slow but I’m ok with it so long the chicken is good.

This chicken stinks a lot. Including drinks. I chose carbonated water, unfortunately this water, like the chicken, is impossible to eat or drink. Unfortunately, it also cost me almost $20 and I couldn’t eat it because it’s not edible.

I stopped in for lunch. I was craving a good chicken sandwich. I heard the Popeyes spicy was as good as Chick-fil-A’s. I was the only person in line when the manager yelled drive thru was wrapped to the front door. I waited 5 minutes to have my order taken. Then it had to be retaken because the cashier needed another card.
I ordered the #9 the Spicy Chicken Sandwich large with Fries and Sweat Tea. Then I waited and waited. Another couple came in and ordered and they got their order in about 5 minutes. Still I waited then the cashier asked me if I had a #8. I told her it was the #9 large with Sweat Tea. I got the bag and then she went to take someone else’s order. I asked if I could please have my sweat tea. She went and brought back a small sweat tea. I asked her if that was their large and showed her my receipt. She went back and got the sweat tea.
I went to my vehicle and open the bag. The fries were under the sandwich. I took out the sandwich and could not believe the 15 small fries were a large fry. I looked at the receipt and it said reg fries. I went back in and waited 5 more minutes patiently then I tried to get the lady’s attention. I asked her if this was a reg fries showing her the 15 fries in the bag. She said yep that’s a reg fries.
By time I got back to my car fries were cold. The spicy chicken sandwich was good but not as good as Chick-fil-A’s. I will not stop at this location again. I drive past this location a couple of times a week.

Stopped for lunch. Order 3 piece tender meal. I got to window and they charged me 18$. I said 18$? She said oh I accidentally charged you the 5 piece tender meal it has 5 tenders in the box. I told her it’s ok no big deal. After I left and got down the road I realized I only had 3 tenders in box. So I got charged 18$ for a 3 tender meal that was supposed to be 14$ and they gave me a cup with 3/4 ice and a drop of dr pepper. Will never stop at this location again. I’m always very nice to people that prepare food and to be literally scammed with shady stuff like this is ridiculous.

Terrible experience. Forgot multiple items not to mention the taste of the food itself. The chicken sandwich was okay. But everything else was mid: save yourself the trouble and go to Chick-fil-A 2 mins down the street.

This is the best Popeyes around hands down Michelle and Ali are the best. The girls working in here go above and beyond to keep the customers happy highly recommend this place. Will definitely be visiting here again

I really try to avoid this location and should have continued to do so but alas I ended up there today. Ordered a two can dine which comes with five pieces of chicken, and somehow they felt it was okay to put 1 breast and 4 wings in the box. This is totally unacceptable and of course no one answers the phone and they have no corporate number.
