I’ve always heard Popeyes was the best chicken, better than KFC. So today we tried Popeyes and it sucked. This particular location. The service was fine, but the actual product is garbage.
I ordered what I believed to be boneless wings with dipping sauce. Instead we got sections of wings that were saturated in the sauce to the point that it’s inedible. I didn’t want chicken that was floating in sauce. I want to taste the chicken. Disgusting. The actual chicken itself in the one serving of original that we got is good. I wish all of it had been that with just separate dipping sauces, but unfortunately we are going to have to throw out most of what we ordered. Also Hot Ones the Last Dab is overrated. I’ve had hotter sauce at Wild Wings. It’s actually extremely mild for a hot sauce. Don’t recommend.

Stopped by tonight and got the 2 for $5 wraps. I love this place, the employees are always chill and friendly but very good about getting your food to you quickly. The couple times I have had an issue with an order since theyve opened that location it was dealt with quickly and fairly. Honestly, with as bad as fast food service is in general these days, I really appreciate it when the employees do such a great job. Keep up the good work guys!

Half the chicken tenders were inedible.
And spicy, when I ask for regular. Asked for side of mashed potatoes got french fries instead, i was rung up for french fries though. Guy at drive through looked very greasy and dirty and clearly cannot hear. And to top it off, there’s a bug stuck in the crevice of the drink lid.

Came on Christmas eve at 8:00 pm and the team was super friendly and attentive in a great mood they were young and I came with my family (9) and the service was top notch. We were very impressed. The front desk team young boy and young girl deserve a raise. Everything was fresh, table clean. Very good experience.

This location needs to change their close time to 8:30pm on Saturday nights, because if you get there an hour before they close forget about getting any food! The dude came over the speaker at the drive thru and said that they shut their fryers down and clean them an hour before closing time! WTH!!?!? Change your close time to 8:30 if you can’t serve the public! There are plenty of other competitors in Cleveland that we can go to! This location will not stay open in our town long if they continue to run their business like this! I can go to Zaxby’s and hour before their closing time and still get served because they clean their fryers after the store is closed like normal people! That’s what I get for wanting to try the blackened chicken for the first time. I guess I won’t get to ever try it.! Not at this location anyway! Now I understand why this place is never crowded!

Service was good, a little slow, but good. Food was good. Restaurant & restrooms were clean. It was a little “smoky” smelling when we walked in, but not bad. It smelled like they had changed oil or something. We were inside for about an hour & it just continued to get worse. It got so bad that I had to use my inhaler & leave. I had a horrible night & next day with my breathing.

This review is for the Cleveland Georgia location. Picked up my one line order today 13 minutes late because they were just dropping the Ghost Pepper wings in the fryer . Not a problem for me.. I love freshly cooked food the staff was friendly and polite. My last two visits to Popeyes in Cornelia were a complete disaster… this location actually has the food on the menu.

I went to Popeyes yesterday around 11 AM and ordered regular chicken with mashed potatoes. A few hours later, I became extremely sick and ended up with food poisoning. This is completely unacceptable and honestly scary. Food safety should be a top priority, and this experience showed a serious lack of care in food handling. I will not be returning, and I definitely do not recommend this location to anyone. Something needs to be done about the quality and safety of the food being served here.

order with 2 order of fries. We did not get either – just chicken
